    One would have to be complete idiot not to know that historically cutting tax rates has increased revenues.

    It is a historical fact.

    It has been shown to be true over and over.

    If lowering taxes always increases revenue then should not eliminating taxes maximize revenue?

    You cannot collect taxes if you are not collecting taxes. Balance is the key. Of course bilking the rich at a much higher rate is not about revenue but about income redistribution.
