Yep. Christians who value the U.S. constitution should support Ron Paul.

But I did notice that he finished 3rd.

In reading all of the hoopla about Mike "Governor Busybody" Huckabee coming in 2nd in this straw poll I realized that there could be one scenario in which I might actually vote for Hillary Clinton in November 2008 - if Mike Huckabee would be anywhere on the Republican ticket and the ticket would be actually competitive in Arkansas.

There is no scenario in which I'd vote for her. If the GOP is without a viable candidate, I'd vote third party or not vote. But I most certainly would not vote for Romney.

So what's your problem with Huckabee?

The Wayne Dumond case, he raised taxes, he wanted to use taxpayer money to fund college scholarships for the children of illegal aliens.

Straw polls are worse than useless. They can be grossly misleading.

==Very sad indeed. It just shows how easy it is to fool people. In my opinion Romney has no core values. He runs as a liberal when it suits him and he runs as a conservative when it suits him. Anyone who cannot see that is just blind.

==Why would vote for Hillary Clinton, instead of Huckabee, over that? Hillary's plan is worse than Huckabee's plan. Hillary, among other things, wants to federalize healthcare and she wants to give all new born babies thousands of dollars. The reality is that she will be force to raise taxes to pay for it all. If you vote for her instead of Huckabee, you have just contradicted your own stated beliefs.

In a Clinton - Huckabee race I would vote for the Libertarian Party candidate.

I do not restrict my votes to the two party paradigm. I have already heard the arguments in this forum for doing so. I do not have a Republican Party default position for my voting pattern. Winning elections does not drive my vote as I consider myself to be a renegade when it comes to voting.
