By the way, when I posted a video by Rachel before her youth was talked about. Well, she is rather young but Rachel is 32 years old and married.

Congressman Ron Paul is coming to Des Moines, Iowa Saturday, June 30th to hold a rally, where he will share his message of freedom, peace and prosperity.

    Everyone is welcome to attend.

We are expecting many supporters, both from Iowa and around America, to come and hear Dr. Paul.

As you may know, Congressman Ron Paul was excluded from the Presidential Candidates Forum sponsored by Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance that is scheduled to take place that same day.

Although we would have liked to have participated, we see a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate to Iowa voters, the broad base of support for Dr. Paul.

So, right after the Presidential Forum, starting at 4:30 PM, Dr. Paul will hold his own rally, where he will share his positive and compelling message for America.

Our rally will be held at the same building as the Presidential Forum. We will be at the Hy-Vee Hall, Room C, Iowa Events Center, 730 Third Street, Des Moines, Iowa.

Please come out to show your support.

Details about the event can be found here:
    http://eventful.com/events/E0-001-005011869-5

Help us prepare for the event by filling out this RSVP form. If you are attending as part of a larger group, please have your organizer or leader fill out this form. If you are attending as an individual, fill out this form for you and your guests.

    Thank you,

    Joe Seehusen

This is not the first time that a candidate couldn't seem to get his voice heard.

Nader had a similar problem many times.

Wow! One candidate, Congressman Ron Paul, drew more than 500 people(I've read elsewhere it was closer to a 1,000) while six other candidates only drew only 800 people for all of them.

    Interesting. Very interesting.

Poor people have poor ways that keep themselves poor.

Could it be that, by trying to stifle his voice, they are actually helping him?

Congressman Ron Paul, as any other candidate for any office, knows up-front what the conditions are going in to any race. No one is guaranteed anything, not even a forum in which to be heard. However they can say what they choose in the US, and let the 'listeners' decide for themselves, in any way they can find to "get out the message". And one is not guaranteed that the 'listeners' will be cognizant of what the candidate is attempting to put forth, even up to being "clueless" in a room full of clues.

That is freedom, folks. Wanna' try it in most of the rest of the world?

    Nader? Nader who?
O.K. just kidding. Nader was not a good choice although he was a choice but he didn't have a very effective base. Democrats and Republicans would have stalled any progress he could have made if he had been elected which in retrospect may have been a good reason to have elected him.

Ron Paul Speaks to 1,000 in Iowa
    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    June 30, 2007

DES MOINES, IOWA – Presidential candidate Ron Paul held a rally today celebrating life and liberty at the Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines, Iowa. The event was held immediately after and next door to a Republican candidates forum sponsored by the Iowa Christian Alliance and Iowans for Tax Relief.

Dr. Paul was the only GOP candidate excluded from the forum, so his campaign organized an event of its own. Despite being planned in less than a week, Dr. Paul's event singlehandedly outdrew the other forum and its six participating candidates by several hundred attendees.

"Today, Ron Paul demonstrated how deeply his message of freedom and limited government is resonating across the nation," said campaign manager Lew Moore.

Dr. Paul, addressing a packed room, received thunderous applause many times and as well as several standing ovations. Observers believe that this event was the biggest rally for a Republican candidate in Iowa during this campaign cycle.

"Ron Paul has generated more grassroots excitement and support than any other candidate in the race," continued Moore. "The campaign is building on this momentum around the country as we drive toward the nomination."

FEEDBACKER FIRST-HAND REPORT ON RON PAUL IOWA RALLY

    Sunday, July 01, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com

Late Sunday (ETA), FMNN received the following report on the Ron Paul Iowa Rally from FMNN feedbacker "Dave:"

    =====

My wife and I just returned home from the RP Iowa rally 10 minutes ago, so this is my first post on the subject. I had the pleasure of meeting Tancredo and Huckabee (both fine gentlemen, IMO), who had organized volunteers of a dozen or two each. Compared to the hundreds of Ron Paul supporters, and their tireless grassroots efforts, it is something you simply have to experience first hand to comprehend.

Congressman Paul's supporters were from across the country (we traveled from Charlotte, North Carolina) and every age, race, color and creed. We are also extremely comitted to Dr. Paul's message and his amazing energy.

We did indeed meet in all parts of Des Moines and a group of us snaked through the city streets in an amazing parade. The attendance was at least 1,000. The address by Congressman Paul was the most relevant political speech I've ever heard, as I'm sure the coming flood of UTube vids and blogs will attest to.

From the folks I talked to at the ITR Forum, they had approximately 700 in attendance. The highlight of the weekend was the (IMHO) triumphant march into the HyVee Hall with flags and signs and T-shirts and caps and buttons and banners blazing, to the unified roar of "RON PAUL!, RON PAUL!, RON PAUL!" An amazing event.

Jim Guest opened for RP, a fine gentleman who did a great job. Campaign chairman Kent Snyder and Campaign manager Lew Moore also both added inspiration at the podium. a great event from any perpective. And now it's on to the Charleston debate.
