    He might provide you with some reading material. What he can't provide you with is proof that Bush granted permission to Hussein to invade Kuwait. It didn't happen.

    I opposed U.S involvement in the Persian Gulf conflict when it happened. It was bad idea then and we what a mess our government has made of the whole situation since then.

    Yes, we told Saddam Hussein while he built up his forces along the Kuwait border that it wasn't a concern to us. This was common knowledge and reported in the press during that time frame. It is not a conspiracy theory.

    "As the world watched the military build up at the Kuwaiti border, Saddam called a meeting with then US ambassador April Gillespie, who told Saddam: "We have no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts, like your border disagreement with Kuwait" (San Francisco Examiner, 11/18/2002).

    Your "proof" is "proof" certain that Bush did not "grant permission" to Iraq to invade Kuwait.

    And we are in Iraq because ? Osama bi Laden sends his terrorist out to create death and destruction so Bush is holding our troops in Iraq . Because thats where the terrorist are. Osama must have missed that invitation in the mail to participate in the war that they are having in Iraq just especially for him.
    :rolleyes: How completely deluded people get !
    In the case of the USS Cole we got the mastermind behind the attack without causing death and destruction to an innocent country.
