Rush Limbaugh offers challenge to Ried

If we all start going down the road on this board of questioning the salvation of fellow Christians with whom we disagree there will be no end to it and these forums would degenerate into nothing more than attacks on each other's relationship with God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

 

In looking over the rules it is clear that I have clearly violated the spirit, if not the letter, of the

I apologize for the times that I have done so and pledge to try to show more Christian love toward fellow posters.

 

I didn't say a word about you. I mentioned Democrats in general.

The interesting thing is that no one has denied that the Democrats murder babies and glorify sodomy. They're only mad because I described them as monsters.

 

Um, how has he derided women?

 

Is not Rush's money his own to do with as he wishes? The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Fund is richer by 4.4 million dollars and you're worrying about Rush's motivation?

And so what if he gets reams of publicity about it? A fine charity is 4.4 million dollars richer for it.

 

I don't think there are anything close to "millions" of born again democrats. When a person is caught by the Lord, they are new creatures, Republicans. :godisgood:

Over half your posts in this thread are an insult to some other poster.

You seem to be picking fights where there aren't any. Sometimes we all have to re-examine our behavior here. I believe it may be your turn.

All right, I apologize for that post. But my intent was an innocent attempt at humor, but ill conceived. I should have known better.

 

I appreciate the apology, but it really isn't necessary. I assumed you were using hyperbole, so I responded in kind. I thought they were both rather cute until Carpro's post. I should have just ignored Carpro's typical insult.

 

More often than not I have voted for the Democratic candidate, although I will vote for the candidate I think is the best, regardless of party affiliation.

Sorry I am so late in responding, but I have been EXTREMELY busy the past two months.

Attack the individual? Rush Limbaugh is not only a shill for a particular faction of the GOP, he is a thrice-divorced, draft-dodging, drug-addicted hedonist. This is well documented. In addition to being a bad guy, he has been one to perpetually attack people. Now that he is trying to make a point, is it not okay to give him the same treatment he gives to others, or is his personal life off limits?
My favorite Rush statement is the one he makes in one of those commercials for LifeLock. In the add, he notes that actions speak louder than words. On that point I agree with El Rushbo..........

Are you saying that "folks here who never served" are not capable of knowing what's best for our men and women serving? That encompasses a lot of people on either side of the aisle.

I have listened to him since '93, and I have heard this several times.

Direct challenge to you: please show us where anyone used the word "hate" to describe their feelings for Rush.
