Bingo. Anybody who has raised children knows you can only talk so long. One must follow through or shut up, because words alone are meaningless.

Freeze the assets of his corrupt cronies, if possible. Deny visas. Maybe they will get mad at Putin and demand he make concessions. There's not much we can do. Kill some of Putin's spies.

That is assuming you receive permission to overfly other countries and that is not a given.

We need to reinstate the agreement with the Eastern Europe nations to install the defensive missile system which Obama whimper out on! That would get Putins attention or at least the Russian military.

You really do want to instigate a war.

Russia doesn't really want a war with us. They won't start one if our gutless Little Marxist Dictator shows some backbone and does the following things:
    • Schedules maneuvers with the Polish Army near the Ukraine border
    • Sends a carrier group into the Black Sea
    • Arms the Ukrainan Army with the best equipment we've got
    • Sends Rangers to train their Special Forces and other Army units
    • Tosses Russia out of the G8
    • Places sanctions on all Russian economic interest throughout the world
Unfortunately, the LMD doesn't have the guts to do that. It is something Reagan or either Bush would do, not what a community organizer (read: communist) would do.

Never ceases to amaze me how conveniently you all overlook all the meddling by the US and it's State Dept NGO's that goes into starting one of these "spontaneous uprisings".

There’a an old adage that goes something like this:

“The more guilty one is in the perpetration of a dastardly crime, the more likely they are to accuse innocent parties of the very same atrocity.” (I've been told this is an old communist trick and yet the same person who told me this falls for it every time Washington and the corporate media pulls it on us)

There is no better example of this on the various geo-political battlefields dotting Planet Earth than the recent color revolution in the Ukraine. A violent revolution which was directly overseen and coordinated by the US-EU espionage agencies. Their highly calculated and preplanned coup d’état orchestrated in Kiev is as transparent as the audiotape of foul language used by Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, in her conversation with the US ambassador to the Ukraine.

The various collaborators who participated in the execution of this coup d’état include all the usual suspects – US and UK, EU and NATO, CIA and MI6, US Department of State and Council on Foreign Relations, DIA and NSA. Each of these parties is now working overtime to keep the lid on their covert crimes committed against the Ukrainian people. Were they to be exposed in the sunshine of revealed subterfuge and sabotage, the entire world would check these globalist conspirators once and for all.

    http://www.storyleak.com/ukraine-deception-useu-directed-coup-detat-exposes/

The same “leaders” in US government and corporate media giving information about Ukraine lied to us about other wars. For one example, official US documentation proves that all of the reasons for war on Iraq and Afghanistan were known to be false as they were told.

I got a solution C4K but no one wants to hear it.

STOP BELIEVING ALL OF WASHINGTON"S LIES!

STOP MEDDLING IN THE AFFAIRS OF OTHER NATIONS!

That is nonsense. As woefully as Obama has cut the Military budget our Military is far superior to that of Putin and Russia. Putin is not stupid enough to go to war with us now, perhaps he will after Obama and the leftists totally destroy our Military. Leftists like yourself CTB have been cozying up to Russia since the days of FDR and Alger Hiss!

Obama really whimpered out when he cancelled the missile defense system in Eastern Europe and Putin correctly saw he was dealing with someone who would make a deal as Obama told Putin's flunky Dmitry Medvedev in 2012! After the election Obama said!

These kinds of actions imply that the US is really willing to go to war over Ukraine. If they fail there is no other choice but war.

Not so sure I want my sons to shed their blood for that cause.

Washington already instigated the "uprising" now it's up to the media and the neocons to make sure Americans are riled up and dumbed down sufficiently to call for military intervention.

How many times have we gone through this now? :BangHead:

You are completely irrational and you thinking is straight out of the 16th century.

How will you fight a war in a country you cannot get to. You will not be able to go through the Dardanelles and even if they were open it would be suicide to try to take ships through such a narrow channel. Also, what makes you think that we can simply overfly Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, etc. They have their own interests to look out for and I do not believe they would back us in such an ignorant venture.

What makes you think it would be so easy. Seems to me you are the one ****-bent on destroying America.

C.T.Boy, it is Biden and Kerry who are doing the saber-rattling. Shouldn't you save just a little criticism for them ?

    I was replying to Old.

I have not seen Biden and Kerry saber-rattling to the extent of many on the board. I'd like to see economic pressure put on Russia. That, to me, would be more effective and would not get a whole bunch of people killed.

Frankly, I am surprised that so many Americans are surprised at Russia's response. Russia and the Soviet Union have for years said the Ukraine is the red line not to be crossed.

A lot of this problem was begun by Clinton allowing NATO to move into Poland. Russia views that much like we would if Russia allowed China to move into Canada. Of course that would never happen ... it is simply an analogy of how they view this.
