Apparently, the 9/11 commission took all the intelligence, and found no connection between Saddam and 9/11.

Bush has closer ties to Osama then Saddam does.

If you'll notice this was before 9/11. The commission said they couldn't find that Saddam helped plan 9/11 not that there wasn't any connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda. ABC news made the connection back in 1999. They made that connection and connections with other terrorists like Carlos the Jackal. Was ABC news lying about what they found?

As for the 9/11 commision failing to make a connection between Iraq and 9/11 I'm sure Saddam was careful in covering his tracks. Someday history will most likely reveal them.

Saddam had his hand deep in the terrorist cookie jar.

The members of the Bush administration all say that Iraq was a haven for terrorists and that Saddam never destroyed his capablility to reconstitute weapons of mass destruction.

Perhaps we should have attacked Iran or North Korea before Iraq. However, North Korea is being handled diplomatically to try and undo the damage that Clinton did by making a deal that he could not enforce in reference to nuclear capability.

As for Iran, they have internal dissent, and now we are in a good position against them. We have split Iran and Syria from Iraq, so that both of them are feeling the heat of a US military presence. Hopefully, after the election in the USA and the election in Iraq, the war will end in Iraq and we can then handle other terror network problems as well as isolate Syria and perhaps force their withdrawal from Lebanon. Perhaps Iran will calm down also. As for North Korea, when our troops leave South Korea, all other Pacific powers will have to apply pressure against China and North Korea. MacArthur looks even wiser from the distance of time, but we cannot cry over spilt milk.

That holds a lot more water with you than with many of us.

With all due respect, the Constitution Party members only attack the GOP and try to undermine the government constantly. That is what makes the CP so much like the liberal Democrats.

Powell, Rice, and Rumsfeld are hardly the liars that the CP wants to call them. Powell has no motive to lie as he is a liberal. Rice is pro-choice but other than that she is not mixed up on any subject and can run circles around the whole 98,000 CP intellectually with her eyes closed. As for Rumsfeld, he is the best Secretary of Defense since Charlie Wilson, and you know it.

Peroutka wants to cut and run from Iraq. He calls the war illegal. No doubt he wants to prosecute the President as a war criminal and no doubt he wants to try the military as war criminals. In that regard, Peroutka is like Joe McCarthy, the alcoholic from Wisconsin. Peroutka is drunk on cheap theology.
