I understand that many do see it that way. My post was about the many people who say no act of nature is God's will and blast and ridicule people who point to a sovereign and just God who can, and does, work through nature. I would suggest that it happens more often than we realize. A sudden storm that causes us to slow down, delay, or skip a trip saves us from and accident, for example.

Oh, that's just "luck", "bad luck" or coincidence.

If our amazing God knows the number of hairs on our heads and when a sparrow falls, surely He knew where a 1,000 mile storm was headed. We can't come close to comprehending why He allowed/willed/ignored the path that storm took.

When I saw TV coverage of the flood waters rushing into Ground Zero I was reminded of Isiah 9:10 and man's defiance of God.

Bad luck or coincidence? I think not. Perhaps, after our Lord calls us home, we'll know for sure. In the meantime, I'd rather trust His guiding hand, than whims of nature.

It may be that four more years of Obama is God's judgment on this country!

I believed after he won last time that we would get 8 years of Obama. I did see it as judgment and we deserve it. I do not believe America will survive the next 4 years.

This was my exact thought. Our country asked for it though.

Yes they did and the innocent will suffer with the guilty. It is difficult to believe the monumental stupidity of the American people! There may be some justification for four years ago but one more time is beyond reason!

We asked for it this time. But we all knew that somebody would eventually have to be elected who would destroy the country.
