In total agreement. If I was lost, that sin would never enter my mind, as the mere thought of it is disgusting. While I got you here, have you been working on any books as of late, and if so, what subjects? We were just in California last summer, my wife and I. We drove from KY. Our first stop was Palm Springs. I thought I was going to have a wreck LOL, on that interstate outside of PS. I had never seen a site of that many windmills. The rotating blades literally hurt my eyes. Along with that, there were some tremendous wind gusts from the nearby mountains. After leaving there, we went to the San Diego zoo, then toured LA and Hollywood. I was shocked to find out they offered tours of "gangland" in downtown LA. We also toured the star's homes. We also saw the Nixon and Reagan libraries. Next day, we went to Death Valley. I do not remember the exact order, but then we saw Sequoia and Yosemite. What a gift of God to see something that majestic. At some point we drove the Napa Valley. Finally, we made our way over to SF and Sausalito. We did get to see Fishermans Wharf, but did not have time to wait to see Alcatraz. We rode the cable cars and drove down Lombard Street. After SF was over, we went to Sacramento, saw the old part of the town and the capitol, then exited California on I80 back to Kentucky. The year before, we toured Washington-Oregon and got the north part of California and saw some more redwoods.

Anyway, you got a really pretty state there.

Well....that was pretty much the GRAND TOUR!

Except for seeing me, you saw everything of importance, and because I've been to al those places, and lived in some of those cities, in a way we met! BTW - Napa Valley was my first church pastorate! Beautiful valley, but, I'd et a little loopy when the wineries cleaned out their vats every month and we were downwind of them. Just made sure I didn't write out sermon notes on that day

My next book, if I can quit hemoraging dollar bills [so many family emergencies needing money thrown at them to fix and repair], I am putting together a collection of my monthly Trail Mix devotions. I have a ton of folks wanting the book, but, I need the money to get it printed, Probably should be out later this summer!

I am also working on my second novel. It will be a sci-fi mystery (Christ centered like Convoy Murder was), and it has promise. At least I am told that by those who have heard the premise and plot line!

Hey, I am glad we agree on so much. I do not believe I'll ever get to your beautiful state, but, I have confidence we'll meet and hug in heaven. Who knows, maybe we'll be neighbors? I am looking forward to my heavenly Condo!

    Shalom, and do take care!:wavey:

BTW - I agree about thosw windmills...the frst time I saw them, I feared a great gust of wind might lift that area of ground right off the old earth, and send it hurdling into outer space! Those babies provide lots of power, mostly to all those Indian casinos! :)

I would agree, that it seems all the argument by everyone is that sin is sinful.

    Folks,

I used to use this illustration about how sinfulness is not so sinful to the sinner.

One goes to the bathroom and stinks it up.

Now to the stinker - the stink is no great problem.

But let someone else come in, and the stink is very stinky.

    Sin is that way.

To the sinner, sin is not very sinful.

But to others the sin of the sinner is exceedingly sinful.

What does God state as how sin is to be considered?

Think the main point is that some within the church seem to want to make Homosexual practice/behaviour as acceptable lifestyle, as they see it as doing what God created them to do, are committed and loving another , are saved by garce of God etc

THAT view is what is being spoken against, as many seking to have liceanse to do that particular sinful behaviour deemed as OK now among even confessing christians!
