Saving money & living cheaper

    Sulphur produces the rotten egg odour in water, but iron causes the rust and hence the orange colour of water. There is little odour to iron, but it will turn the bottom of a pot or kettle into an iron deposit of white in a hurry.

    The depth of a well can work both ways...too deep and hit the sulphur and in other cases, too shallow, and presto, sulphur. LOcal history determines the depth to drill. For example, most wells in my area are on average 72 feet, but our village house, the well is only 20 feet..both excellent and clean water.

    I really don't know what the saving are in diluting liquid soaps with water.........isn't the soap dispensed in water???? Just use less of it!

    PS. The majority of septic system failure of the tile bed is caused by laundry and dishwashing detergents.
