Saving money on food, home, etc..

    We have pick 5 here too, I find that it drives the regular price of meats up. I don't know about anywhere else, but it does here. Sometimes they mark stuff pick 5 that didn't cost $4. to begin with.

    Theres an amish store a few miles away(more like 15), who buys spices and similr items in bulk, and repackage them into small plastic bowls. I buy most all my spices there, and I pay less then half what they'd be in a regular grocery store. Unless I find them at the salvage store which is even cheaper.

    I save leftover veggies in a freezer bag till I have enough for soup.
