Being a dispensationalist until recently was death if you wanted a job in an SBC seminary.

Now SWBTS has the provost who has written several articles on dispensationalism. What I find rather interesting is that DTs has been going away from the old time dispensationalism and the SBC is coming closer.

How many follow Larkin, Scofield, McIntosh? How many who claim to be dispensationalists have atcually read their works? I doubt that many really do know the background of what they believe and where it leads.

Thus the many flavors of dispensational theology.

That did not happen until just a few years ago.

This is true, unfortunate but true. The number times former Southwestern profs must have rolled around in their graves is unimaginable!

I wonder how much of what has been said about some of those godly men from the past would be said if they were living today? The funniest thing is that I have yet to read a book today by any of the major leaders in the SBC that would hold a candle to men like Broadus and A.T. Robertson.

Boy that's a naive perception. The objective of the "conservatives" was to seize power over the SBC so they could turn it towards supporting the Republican party.

Inflammatory rhetoric based on emotion and lacks sound reason and judgement. The truth is that the libs hid their agenda and worked to destroy the reliablitity of scripture. On our college campuses students who held the biblical view of inerrancy were harrassed and made fun of by the proffessors. Since they would not listen or consider a change in this hidden policy conservatives fought to take back the colleges. Praise God for them.

This was a reality break. Now back to your regularly scheduled Twighlight Zone.

    Where is your proof?

Let me rephrase: Do you have any supporting proof of your statement or is this just your opinion?
