The Context for the verse you isolated on is what I pointed to. The Context provides the exegesis for that verse. Without that context you can use that verse to mean anything you want it to. With the context it can only mean what Jesus said it means.

Which is what?
Are you saying that based upon the context the Lord says: "you are not one of my sheep because you do not believe" when He actually said: "you do not believe because you are not one of my sheep"?

Also, you are implying that the context forces a verse to be turned on its head! If what you say is true, why didn't the Lord say exactly what the context teaches? Why play tricks with the cause and effect on us?
