In the last several weeks I have heard a pastor and his associate pastor of a FWB Church speak on the radio about how it is against the Bible for a woman to be president. They spoke about how women should not usurp authority over men. They have said it will be a sad day in this country if a woman is elected president. They stated that years ago it would never have even been thought of. I will not vote for Mrs. Clinton, but will it be a sin if she is elected president. I mean that would be having authority over men. Thanks.

Not that I am a fan of Hillary, nor am I voting for her, but I think your usurping authority has to do with church.

I wonder if this would even come up if someone like Margaret Thatcher were the candidate instead of Hillary?

It does have to do with the church.

Hillary is a socialist, liberal, a vote for her is like voting for Putin.

If she's elected we might as well start flying the flag of communism.

I don't think so. Liberal, yes. Socialist ? maybe. But Putin is a far worse individual than Hillary, and I think if push comes to shove, Hillary will show American colors.

Not that I'm voting for her.

Such gross ignorance of what Scripture is really saying.
    And over the radio, yet.

But then again, there have been a lot of "preachers" and Bible "scholars" who have brought erroneous teachings over the radio and tv and contributed to the negative image of Christians today.

Oh--------push WILL come to shove-----but she hasn't showed Americans "Diddly" so far---what makes you think she'll show us any sort of "color" when push does come to shove

==The Bible's statements on leadership deal with Christians and the Church, not the secular government. The people who are making the claims you mention have an up hill battle to prove that their doctrine is firmly grounded in Scripture.

Time to push the off button. It sounds like the Gong Show would be more productive.

yea, i have heard that too, but the usurping authority is in the church.

However, there is a pattern in the Bible of male leadership.
