I think this is the best thing he can do at this point.

Hmmm...They organized a sting operation, then determined this man's intentions of picking up a piece of paper while in the toilet stall, and conclude his foot movements as "gestures" and "a pick up line". The authorities say his foot brushed against theirs yet how could that be? Both parties had to have extended a foot under private stall area's for this to occur. Even if this is accurate, so what if the Senator rubbed his leg against the other guy's leg? There are no laws against two parties acting like goofballs while in the John.

Since there were no actual words exchanged between them, it appears there is a lack of evidence. One would think there would have been some words exchanged by the parties indicating a motive. The Senator admitted no wrongdoing during the interrogation. His wife stands behind him. I read the interrogation transcript on yahoo this morning.

It appears he was set up

His guilty plea speaks volumes. As he is a Republican, his behavior, whether willful or not, can't be ignored.

    Possibly.

But he pled guilty. A very stupid move for a Senator if he wasn't actually guilty.

Yeah whatever. No, in fact he set up the voters of Idaho, pandering for Christian and conservative votes. Shout from the mountain tops about morals, family values, and how bad gays are, and do the exact same thing.

At least the Democrats dont pretend as dispicable as their policies are.

Yeah, he was about as set up as OJ.

Like others have said the guilty plea speaks volumes. As a Senator, had he not wanted to hide something, then he would have fought this tooth and nail. With him pleaing guilty it just tells me he is/was guilty and tried to make this go away..

6 months or a year from now we will find out he was/is in fact gay and by then it will be a no news story...

Just another bad apple removed from office.. Now if we could keep this process up and clean congress out completely! :)

    Oh, puh leeze....

Sure they do. They pretend to care about the "little people", among other things.

    What a joke!

If you believe otherwise, you're not as smart as I thought you were.

The bad thing is, when I have to use the facilites at the airport, I always bring my rolling carryon bag inside the stall and put it up against the door, because:

    1. I don't want it stolen
    2. You aren't supposed to leave bags unattended at the airport
    3. It keeps people from pushing on the door

I didn't know I was advertising for something I am not interested in. Yikes!

Brother Bob will pull it off his shoe, then toss it onto the floor.

Then a good samaritian enters the bathroom stall
bends down and picks it up.
    Pulls his britches down.. relaxes...
notices a kink in his leg...
Stretches... oh here is where it gets ugly

"doot doot doot..... another one bites the dust..."

When you hear or see Queen, run like the wind! :D

You're right. In the transcript he admits he pled guilty hoping it would go away quickly

A "brush" of a leg, and picking up a piece of paper off the floor doesn't define an orientation nor does it conclude anything further than what it is.

But there could be more to the story.

It's rude for someone to stick their foot in your stall. Sad that people can dish it out, harass one while in a private stall, but when they get it right back, they arrest for it. One is paid to pretend to be a homo by harassing folks, and the other is acting like a homo right back out of anger. It's just sillyness.

    Blessings,

    Joe

Oh, I am quite smart or would not have the job I do. It requires common sense also.

Name calling is not necessary to carry on a back and forth exchange. Maybe you did not read the post correctly or are linguistically challenged, but the subject was not about the "little people" which the Democrats are hypocritical about. The subject has to do with pounding the podium in the halls of Congress about morality, family values, and other related issues.

The same comment could be made (without calling names) about one who blindly supports the Republican party regardless of their actions.

Did someone call you a name? I must have missed it.

Howsomever, you can stop dissembling now.

It's hard to take one seriously as any kind of objective judge of political parties when they reserve all their criticism for one party and give the other a pass.

I think that sounds like you and you think it sounds like me. Isn't that funny?

I'm glad your job likes you.
