Good for BHO - But the Damage Has Been DONE!

This is a day late and a dollar short of taking the stance BHO should have taken months, or years ago. The truth is, he can leave, but the damage, like a nagging shadow will follow him until November 4. His naive spirit, and lack of experience has been revealed by the manner in which he handled the Trinity Church up-roar.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

He said he is looking for a new church....

Would you vote for him to join in membership into your church, knowing that what he believes about abortion and homosexuals?

Who knows, he might be visiting.

Gosh, I hope so!! Wouldn't that be great! Maybe that would help bridge the divide we have between us now.... We are ALL God's children are we not?

When it comes to abortion and homosexuality, it's called scripture, not hack and slash. Soemthing obama isn't familiar with, and apparently his followers either.

Well, first of all.. re read my posts.. I am not a follower... <edited - LE>

So, do you hold that same weight with all politicans? Oh, who are you voting for this Nov?

And it IS hack and slash when it coms to these post about Obama! There is more than enough reason not to vote for him, and yet there are people on this board that can't help themselves and keep bringing up these stupid stories..

He was a member of a Christian church for many years... he didn't see eye to eye with his pastor.. he was moved on and is looking for a new church.

Does it have anything to do with the fact he wants to be POTUS? Maybe.. who really knows the whole exact truth?

Has it happened to any one of us? Yeah, and if we told our story or it became clear and we decided to break away, members of this board would pat them on the back for seeing the light.. for coming around...

You can it what you want.. I STILL call it hack and slash...

Yes, there is quite a gap between NOI and Christianity.

And, no, according to Scripture, we are not all God's children. While it is true that all human beings are created by God, only those who are born again are God's children according to many passages in the Bible.

Clearly someone who believes in stabbing a scissors into and then sucking out the brains of a living unborn baby does not worship the same God or know the same Jesus that I do.

    never said you were.

Any who beleive in murdering live born babies I will most certainly speak out against.

What stupid story did I mention?
IS it stupid to hold someone to account for murdering babies, or saying homosexuality isn't immoral?
Calling someone on an anti scriptural bases is not hack and slash. Ask Jesus or Paul. Otherwise there goes preaching the need of salvation to anyone.

If Obama were purely about politics, you are correct. But he seems to be someone who also values the relationships he has established over the years and he seemed genuinely sad that it had come to this. I wish him well in finding a church community that can encourage his spiritual growth and relationship with Christ without compromising his political career. On the flip side, I hope he finds a church that is not overwhelmed by his polical position but is able to function well with his membership.

I'm sure there are baby killing churches out there somewhere that do not require anything of a member other then money, not change in life or thought to line up with scripture, who believe in homosexuality, he would feel quite comfortable in.
Any real church would not allow him unless he changed some of his opinions to reflect Christ, instead of worldly evil opinions he currently has.

    From CNN's report....

We also don't want the church subjected to the scrutiny that a presidential campaign legitimately undergoes...

    Translation....

"It's awful hard to get our "Hate Whitey" message out with all these cameras on us......"

According to obama, it's not like they attend church at all anyway.
But then to explain his and his wife's spouting the same garbage as their former pastor.

That's the truth! The stink is black liberation "theology" and Obama is a believer in it even if he does so with a slick tounge unlike Wright.

A smart move on Obama's part. This will make the Wright news seem old and tired by November.

You are correct, dragonfly. By Labor Day the only folks talking about this will be radical right-wing bloggers who hardly anyone reads.

It's more than just right-wingers, Ken. Us libertarians think Obama's supporters have been awful quick to play the race card, everytime he is called on something. Thinking people will realize Obama IS that church, just as that church IS Obama. His friends and close associates ARE legit targets, and we should be able to ask questions without your constant whining that we are doing it to be hateful.
