    Don't misrepresent what this guy is doing. It explains in the article that he's doing this as a protest to his fellow senators, who want to pass legislation preventing the filing of lawsuits. In his own words, ""The Constitution requires that the courthouse doors be open, so you cannot prohibit the filing of suits."

    Still, I hope to watch a web feed of the trial to see if the defendant shows up. :)

    There needs to be a restraint on frivolous law suits.

    The problem lies with defining "frivolous." Too general, and anything can be defined as frivolous, and no one gets to file a lawsuit against anybody. Too strict, and you overlook something.
    Do we have the right to take a matter to the courts, or not?

    Somebody ought to sue Satan, with Eve as co-defendant.
    If Satan hadn't tempted Eve, and if Eve hadn't allowed herself to be tempted, then there would have been no sin to corrupt God's creation.

    Wouldn't that be great! To see God show up and question his accuser;

    Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
    2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
    3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
    4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
    5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
    6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
    7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
    8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

    People need to stop blaming God for things and start realising that it is human beings that cause most of the problems! :BangHead:

    If people actually followed the Bible all the time (which we don't) then there would be very few problems in the world. Even natural disasters are possibly attributable to pollution caused by the human race not taking care of the planet.

    This ....senator is not blaming god. He is using this as a statement that everyone should always be able to bring a lawsuit against anyone for any reason. This is irreverent and irresponsible. People bring lawsuits with the intention of settling a case that never had any merit to begin with. Frivolous law suits run up insurance costs.

    Of course if the libs can continue to support the inane law suits they can work to destroy capitalism and bring in a communist system.
