The escalating Israeli assault on Lebanon clearly represents a conscious bid to provoke a general war in the Middle East. The captured Israeli soldiers are only the pretext for the present massive military operations.

Israeli spokesmen are making constant allegations that Hezbollah missiles being fired at Israel have been manufactured or delivered by Iran. At the same time, the Israelis accuse Hezbollah of wanting to transfer the two captured Israeli soldiers to Syria or Iran. These statements are an attempt to build a case for an Israeli sneak attack on Syria and/or Iran. US spokesmen, including the Nietzschean fascist John Bolton, constantly repeat the litany that Syria and Iran are the supporters of Hezbollah.

How might the Israelis and their Bush-Cheney allies escalate to a Middle East regional war? A linear scenario is that, after further bombardment of Israel by rockets allegedly made in Iran and allegedly delivered with the connivance of Syria, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) lashes out at Damascus and Teheran. Syrian and Iranian retaliatory measures would then be seized upon by the Bush-Cheney regime as a pretext for US entry into the war. Here the US would be openly dragged into war as the tail of the Israeli dog. But this is a deeply flawed scenario, sure to generate huge waves of resentment against the Israelis and their US partners as the body bags begin to come home.

False flag scenarios would be entirely more effective from the point of view of the war planners. CNN and MSNBC coverage this Saturday morning has been stressing the situation of the 25,000 Americans now stuck in Lebanon. These Americans are being invited to register with the US consulates for possible evacuation. The State Department and the US military have been remarkably slow to begin such an evacuation.

One possible provocation scenario to bring the US into the war is that a helicopter carrying US citizens being evacuated out of Lebanon is hit by a missile and destroyed, killing all on board. The missile might be fired by the Israelis or by their allies among the fascist Lebanese Phalangists. The Israelis would announce that the helicopter had been destroyed by Hezbollah, opening the way for a hysterical campaign by Fox News and the rest of the neocon mass brainwashing apparatus to secure an early US attack on Syria and Iran.

An alternative: a group of Arabic-speaking Israeli Mossad or Shin Beth special forces, or a group of Phalangist militia round up a few dozen Americans and machine-gun them to death. The controlled media then blame the massacre on Hezbolllah, thus stampeding the US population into war.

The "Christian" Phalangist (or "Kataeb Party") have long been a willing cat's paw for the US and Israelis in Lebanon. It was the Phalangists, controlled by the Gemayel family, who did most of the actual killing at the infamous Tel-al-Zaatar massacre in August 1976, in the midst of the Kissinger-provoked Lebanese civil war. The Phalangists in that case did the dirty work under the supervision of the Israelis. Although the controlled media have been silent about the Phalange, it is clear that they are still available for dirty operations.

In an ominous sign, CNN broadcasts have featured first-person interviews with Caroline Shamoun, supposedly an American stuck in Lebanon. This reference recalls Camille Chamoun, the CIA puppet president of Lebanon who called in US forces in 1958. The goal of the current campaign is manifestly to call US forces to intervene into a Lebanon-centered crisis once again.

All peace-loving governments and all Americans of good will should make it clear that they hold the Israeli Mossad, Shin Beth, and Israeli Defense Forces directly responsible for the safety and welfare of the Americans trapped in Lebanon by the present aggression. Any atrocities against these Americans cannot be attributed to Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran, none of whom has any conceivable interest in provoking the US into an attack. It is Israel and Cheney who have such an interest, as is likely to have been discussed during Olmert's visit to the US in May and Netanyahu's visit here in June.

It is imperative that the US and world populations be inoculated against the provocation scenarios now being propagandized by CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the controlled media.

The site this article comes from has an anti-Israel flavor to it. I do not see any white supremacy though.

I realize it's a grave question, but it's not just this post. And I just want to hear him answer the question. And I'll never ask it again.

I respect you Rev, this question is due to a history of anti-Israel sentiment, sometimes shocking, from poncho.

Also, yes, I realize it is a nasty question, but I would like it answered, so it is never in my mind, again.

Any thinking person might actually want to hear both sides of the story before picking sides. Doh!

With all the questions this article might have raised this is the only one that comes to your mind? For the record Bro Curtis...I was brought up not to hate anybody and to always ask questions and not play favorites. I can see where you and others might have a problem with this idea with as much playing of favorites that goes on here.

Now I have a question for you, why aren't you asking mature questions more up to your ability instead of this knee jerk fourth grade type nonsense? Life long conditioning I suppose, eh?

And listen to you, anti-Israel flavor? This site is anti world government, period. It tells the other side of the story, you've probably never heard it before from Rush Hannity. It's not comfortable, it's not pretty, it might not fit into your neat little made for tv reality but it's all based on historic facts backed up by the documents.

Sorry fellers, if being a good Christian means playing favorites and keeping my mouth shut about possible crimes and corruption when told too then I guess I'm hanging with the wrong crowd. All this time I've been thinking Christains were all about the truth, the BB logo says " the truth shall set you free" well how would you know when all you folks do is gorge yourselves on mainstream propaganda and react without thinking?

    ==Several problems.

    1. I am sure the US and Israel are working together on this. In fact I know it. Israel knows when and where our ships (etc) are and what we are doing.

    2. Israel is not guilty of any form of aggression. Israel is doing what any sovereign state would do under the same situation. Israel is under attack from Hamas and Hezbollah and is now responding with heavy force.

    3. Unlike Hezbollah and Hamas, Israel does not willfully target "innocent" civilians. I say "innocent" because, as America should know very well, not all civilians are innocent. Sadly innocent people will be injured and killed in urban fighting, there is no way around it. And yes, at times Israel must fire into a residential area to hit Hezbollah targets (that Hezbollah put in civilian areas). Now it is true that Hezbollah wants Israel to kill civilians, why? So they can vomit their propaganda to Europeans and Americans who are gullible enough to believe it. Saddam did the same thing in Iraq.

    4. When you say that, "Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran, none of whom has any conceivable interest in provoking the US into an attack", I must laugh. Why? Because we have a statement from Hezbollah, I believe in Iran, that they are ready to strike US targets around the world. You have Iran ignoring the United Nation's call for them to stop their nuclear program, and threatening to destroy Israel. Iran, at least, would love nothing more than for America to get directly involved.

Take my advice, ok? Turn off your tv and computer, goto the beach, lake, or pool, etc. When you get there relax, read a good fictional novel, maybe one or two books from the Bible as well. Get your mind off this stuff. It is clear from your rant that you have put way too much thought into this (unless of course you are just repeating what someone else has said).

Btw, I take my own advice. I am not watching hardly any news coverage. I am spending most of my vacation reading several books that I have been wanting to get to (a New Testament history, a debate on the historical Jesus, and two biographies on George Washington). I am also spending time out on the jet ski and walking the dog. Truthfully I only think about this problem in Israel when I am reading posts on this board. And the only reason I am doing that is because there is nothing I feel like responding to on one of the theology boards. :type:

Sure it helps to know where your allies ships are so you can attack them without provocation to blame another country as a pretext for a war with that country...U.S.S Liberty. That's called a false flag operation, in case you didn't know. No secret there.

It's also no secret that the neocons have written many papers and documents calling for just what we are seeing now. You might want to put aside a few hours to find and read them (putting off your "beach time" in pursuit of the truth of course may be too much to ask) but you'll notice one thing the media isn't telling you right away. The biggest threat to them is the "oil weapon" them evil "ayrabs" have not the nuclear weapons they may have in the future, not the terrorists we've helped to create by our interventions into other peoples affairs.

How do you know that? Where'd you hear it, read it? Israeli news? U.S. news? British news? (all controlled by a handfull of elite, the same ones that stand to profit from all these wars, hmmm) Have you been reading the other side's news also? Have you been trying to track down the facts given by both sides? Did you take the time to ask yourself some questions like, why now? It's no secret Bush and the neocons want an all out war in the middle east first Iraq then Iran, Syria yadda yadda. People weren't buying into the same phoney baloney they pushed to convince us of the "threat" Iraq posed to topple Saddam and turn Iraq into a global privateers paradise. Ilegally I might add if you think international law is binding on the signatories. (but scuse me that's not broadcast on Nightline CNN or Fox so you may have never heard about it but it's written in black and white in their very own documents) So with Americans finally fed up with Bush and the neocons pipe dreams of world domination by the "worlds only superpower" that can't even wage a war without going further into debt to a communist regime. Some other catylizing event was needed to keep the sheoples in line and rooting for spending our blood and China's treasure trying to "save the world from evil".

Israel knowingly targeted and fired upon one of our ships in international waters, knowing full well it was an American ship, in order to blame it on and start a war with Egypt. Again that's the U.S.S. Liberty. If that Russian ship hadn't come by and witnessed the whole event none of the sailors on that ship would have ever seen home and Israel would have gotten it's war with Egypt and we'd all be reading how Egypt attacked the U.S.S Liberty in our history books.

I'm not buying the whole innocent victim routine. They weren't so innocent when they were killing our people by a false attack to get a war they wanted. Not to say that we don't do it too. Iran 1953, CIA false flag operation working with one group that posed as another to collapse another government, our own government has a history of using terrorism and false flags to protect "America's interests" that translates to American elites interests. We common folk just get to pay the bills.

Well after reading this I must also laugh, why? Because I'm going to ask you to prove what you just typed. You show me when and where Iran ever agreed to a UN mandate to refrain from nuclear enrichment or their nuclear program. The Iranians put those locks on their plants voluntarily. Not by mandate or treaty. Iran is a signatory to the NPT btw, is Israel? Show me the quote(s) when where and who said Iran was going to destroy Israel that wasn't first provoked by a threat of aggresion towards Iran by either the U.S. or Israel.

Yeah I've put alot of time and thought into this whole neocon craziness. Like finding and reading all the documents and putting thousands of MSM articles in order trying to get to the story through all the propaganda from the lefties and righties and globalists and whatnot, going over history again and again then going over the documents again. Yep I've done my homework all right, that's why I really appreciate people like you who find many more enjoyable ways to spend their time then popping in to tell me how things really are.

He never once addressed your question. He side stepped it. He moved and made you look like the aggressor. And all the while the matador let the bull go right by the cape - and all that time the matador was sticking the bull with poisoned barbs to slow it down for the kill.

I hate it when the truth is being killed.

Now Carpro, I realize you might have been using TIC humor and sarcasm in your answer, you were asked what I considered a question in poor taste. But your answer was stated in a manner that raised immediate concern in me. You responded in a manner that disguised your answer rather than to make your answer truthful.

    I want a real answer:

Carpro - you were asked what I considered a question in poor taste, until I read your response. Therefore you have led me to ask: (1) are you now, or have you ever been, associated with: hate groups; groups that 'might' be on terror watch lists; and or any other groups that should cause us as practicing Christians concern about your veracity (to include white supremacists and or fascist groups)? (2.a.) Is there anyone that would disagree with your veracity in your answer of question 1? (2.b.) If there is someone that would question your veracity, how much should we be concerned?

Yes & no are the allowable answers if you are telling the truth. If you are deceiving to us, we won't know this side of eternity.

Yes, or no - not a 6 year old, "I know you are now what am I?"

    Who? Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Where? A meeting with Protesting students.

Reported by Islamic Republic News Agency and CNN.

He said that Israel should be "wiped out from the map of the world" and that "Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury."

I think those type statements are pretty clear.

    http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/10/26/ahmadinejad/index.html

I doubt you will believe the story...

    You seem set against Israel.

Are you asking me or Carpro? I'll answer because I cannot fathom why you would ask a neocon's neocon such foolish questions.

Let's take one question at a time. Okay.

NO! Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future! Is that clear enough?

Well, I have spoke in favor of the U.S. Constitution and Bill Of Rights more than once, in the FBI training manuals that would make me a suspect so yeah I'm probably on some "watch list" I mean God forbid that Americans stand up for their rights.

Practicing Christians? Does that include being a blind follower of a world leader that dresses up in long robes and worships an owl? I'll never be ashamed to admit Christ as my savior but I am ashamed for many of you folks that can't see the forrest for the trees. I understand those redwoods are big but for crying out loud this has all been documented over and over, worshipping owls have nothing to do with Christianity. Nothing. Yet the worlds leaders that most of you have been conditioned to follow without question do it every year.

White supremacist or fascist groups? Have you not been paying attention? How many times have I spoke out against fascism here? A hundred? A thousand? You seem to be much more comfortable with the idea of government and business being combined than I am.

Who's truth God's or the neocon's? God is truth, the neocons have to rely on Machiavelli's version of it, and by defualt so do you, if you believe all the propaganda they've been pushing.

And you never once addressed the article being more interested in side stepping the whole thing in favor of interrorgating me. That tells me alot about the type of people I'm dealing with here. Totally conditioned.
