Seventeen all together

    Several years ago we had a family reunion - they all came to Texas (my B-I-L and S-I-L's) with their kids!

    There were a total of 8 adults and 9 kids = total 17 people.

    At the time we lived in a 3 bedroom house trailer ( about 1,000 Square Ft)

    We let my SIL and her hubby sleep in our bed becasue of his bad back.

    My two kids had beds (could be cousins slept together) - honestly I'm not sure the sleeping arrangements of all the others-other than several slept in the living room

    I thought if was fun squeezing everyone into our house trailer.

    NOW - if you had been the host - would you have done the same - or what?

    The in-laws stayed for about three nights.

    There is a motel in town. I would have given them directions.

    We invited them to come - been too much to rent 3 rooms

    We have family reunions every year. Just because my mother mails the invitations, does not mean she is inviting anyone to stay with her.

    Back in the 60s, my father's family had reunions, but my immediate family of six was the only one from "out of town."
