Can you imagine the Barenaked Ladies playing through their own rendition of Shakespeare's "As you Like It?" They will be. And it will be premiered at the prestigious Stratford Festival on June 4.
I am not usually in favor of rock, etc., but as alternative music this sounds interesting. The CBC news just had a short news clip where they went behind the scenes and interviewed them, and showed how they are accomplishing this feat. I found it quite interesting.

Barenaked Ladies are unsaved sinners, therefore any music they make is sinful.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I like those guys and I'll be curious to hear it.

The last band I had covered their song, "If I Had $1,000,000".

In a related story, if this is something you think you might like, maybe you'd be interested in Randy Newman's "Faust".
