Featured Should a Christian attend an immoral wedding

    Yes, obviously. But the point I was responding to seemed to be that one's presence at a major life ceremony of another indicates approval of the circumstances of the event.

    I don't find that to be true at all. Perhaps I have misunderstood or am taking things too far.

    Just stop, you don't need to do any of those things and yes it is true. Pledging support for the stability of the home is also giving approval with their marriage and behavior.

    I think both. The topic is specifically weddings whereas you have broadened it to include all major life events. Also, it is specifically "immoral" weddings not "ill-advised" weddings.

    You and I definitely agree on the need for both partners to be well prepared for the marriage.

    There is no such thing as gay marriage. You would not be attending a wedding.
