Do you at least accept that the president and his party are far bigger supporters of anti christian policies than others are?

I believe all need a list of what you consider anti-christian policies before anyone can make a rational reply.

What policies are you talking about?

Requiring Catholics to no longer honor their closely held beliefs against contraception by requiring them to insure employees for such services, plus abortion.

I'd suggest you read this article from The Blaze back in March of 2012 for just a partial listing of other affronts to Christianity on the part of the Little Marxist Dictator. There have been more since, as if these weren't enough.

Here are a few of those others:

    • August 2013 - USAID, a federal government agency, shut down a conference in South Korea the night before it was scheduled to take place because some of the presentations were not pro-abortion but instead presented information on abortion complications, including the problems of "preterm births, mental health issues, and maternal mortality" among women giving birth who had previous abortions. (Wendy Wright," USAID Rep Shuts Down Workshop on Abortion Complications," Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute, August 9, 2013.)
    • June 2013 – The Obama Administration finalizes requirements that under the Obamacare insurance program, employers must make available abortion-causing drugs, regardless of the religious conscience objections of many employers and even despite the directive of several federal courts to protect the religious conscience of employers. Obama Administration Ignores Outcries, Finalizes HHS Mandate Targeting Religious Freedom
    • April 2013 – The United States Agency for Internal Development (USAID), an official foreign policy agency of the U.S. government, begins a program to train homosexual activists in various countries around the world to overturn traditional marriage and anti-sodomy laws, targeting first those countries with strong Catholic influences, including Ecuador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Obama administration begins training homosexual activists around the world
    • August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. Obama, Congress Cut Funding for 176 Abstinence Programs Despite New Study
    • December 2013 - A naval facility required that two nativity scenes -- scenes depicting the event that caused Christmas to be declared a national federal holiday -- be removed from the base dining hall and be confined to the base chapel, thus disallowing the open public acknowledgment of this national federal holiday. Nativity scenes removed from Guantanamo dining halls after complaints
    • June 2013 – The Obama Department of Justice defunds a Young Marines chapter in Louisiana because their oath mentioned God, and another youth program because it permits a voluntary student-led prayer. (Todd Starnes, “DOJ Defunds At-Risk Youth Programs over “God” Reference,” Townhall, June 25, 2013.)
    • February 2013 – The Obama Administration announces that the rights of religious conscience for individuals will not be protected under the Affordable Care Act. (Steven Ertelt, “Obama Admin’s HHS Mandate Revision Likely Excludes Hobby Lobby,” LifeNews.com, February 1, 2013; Dan Merica, “Obama proposal would let religious groups opt-out of contraception mandate,” CNN, February 1, 2013.)
    • January 2013 – Pastor Louie Giglio is pressured to remove himself from praying at the inauguration after it is discovered he once preached a sermon supporting the Biblical definition of marriage. (Sheryl Gay Stolberg, “Minister Backs Out of Speech at Inaugural,” New York Times, January 10, 2013; Eric Marrapodi, “Giglio bows out of inauguration over sermon on gays,” CNN, January 10, 2013.)
    • December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. Hillary Rodham Clinton, “Remarks in Recognition of International Human Rights Day,” U.S. Department of State, December 6, 2011.)
    • April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. (Chris Johnson, “ENDA passage effort renewed with Senate introduction,” Washington Blade, April 15, 2011.)

    The question was for Yeshuda.

To your first paragraph, no one is forcing the employee to accept contraceptive devices.

That's not the issue and you well know it. It is a violation of the church's opposition to contraceptives and abortion. The president is trying to force the church to fund them against their religious beliefs. Yet another example of your support for abortion and the "party of death" -- which despite numerous opportunities to do so at the behest of several members, you have refused to denounce.

That's because he wants to keep abortion legal.

What I believe is that Jesus Christ, not the Republican or Democrat Parties, holds the key to salvation and Christianity.

There are plenty of Christian and anti-Christian members of both parties. Goodness , the Pharisees made plenty "Christian" policies. The problem being their "Christian" policies didn't include Jesus Christ.

So make all the "Christian" policies that you like. In the word of GOD I am told:

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 1 Cor. 13:1-3

What do "Christian" and non-"Christian" policies mean if everything that comes out is absent the love of Christ?

You are constantly trying to win a political argument. I'm talking about the BODY OF CHRIST loving PEOPLE.

Now seriously, has any member on this board ever said that they support any policy from anyone that murders a baby(outside or inside the womb) or any adult for that matter?

All this wrangling about keeping abortion legal and illegal needs to be left outside the church. The church should be concerned with preaching a Gospel that sets people free so that they don't want to get an abortion. That's where the headway into this atrocity will be made.

If someone wants an abortion they will get one whether or not it is legal. The enemy loves this them vs us out of the church. It should be US, the BODY, vs him. Preach the Gospel. Making abortion illegal isn't gonna save anybody's soul.

Our primary focus has to be to see hearts , not the law, changed.

Perhaps I'm on ignore...I'll try again:

Zaac - I don't understand. I oppose abortion as the murder of a human; I preach it in the church I attend; I work with other Christians to also preach that sin is the reason we need Jesus.

However, the legal system in this country isn't swayed by our preaching. It currently says that the murder of unborn children is legal and acceptable.

How can we not condemn that?

How can we not condemn someone who supports it?

How can we not call it sin, that needs repentance and Christ?

ADDED to address your latest statement: And they're not coming into the church to hear it; so doesn't that mean the church needs to go out to them?

Should a good Christian be patriotic?

Good?" Didn't Jesus say no one is good, but the one that is God?

Yes we should. In my post I noted that while I love my country and am very patriotic, I believe that it is not to far away from experiencing Gods judgement. I say that with sadness but I do believe it to be the truth. I love my country but I love my God more and I pray that this country will return to her heritage. America has been blessed by God but if she doesn't repent He will judge her.

Because we have not been commissioned to change the legal system but to point people to Christ. The legal system will change as people are changed. We're trying to do things from a man-centric view when we've been commissioned to do them from a God-centric view.

How many decades do we have to go through before we finally realize that you simply cannot legislate morality just because we're against something when the majority are for it?

Liberals and those who are against all things Christ have seen their numbers steadily increase because we keep trying to attack a symptom instead of the problem.

You don't have to. The word of God has already condemned it. Preach te Gospel.

Because like Christ did during His ministry, we haven't been commissioned to condemn anyone. The lost are already condemned without our two cents. We've been commissioned to share the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ Who saves, not condemns.

I didn't say to not call it sin in need of forgiveness and repentance. But as always, we have got to let go of this one sin as an issue. If someone has committed this sin, it's one of many sins in their lives of which they need to be forgiven. We mustn't try to win a political argument at the cost of losing a soul that needs to be forgiven of ALL of its sin.

Not about any one issue unless that issue is a sinner lost in need of salvation.

What is patriotism? To protect and defend the constitution of the United States or to defend the global interests of the corporate elite?

Don't you know Rev? We're not supposed to talk about sin!! Not sure how we preach the Gospel without talking about sin but that is what we are supposed to do! Just tell them that Jesus is the Saviour, (save them from what exactly we don't tell them because after all NEVER TALK ABOUT SIN!!!). Of course what this leads to is more false professions of faith because they came to Christ for a Better life not in broken repentance over sin because we didn't tell them about sin and fleeing the wrath to come! Then, of course we are bewildered over why the church is so worldly and unChristlike. The church needs to be the agency driving social change by reaching people with the Gospel, the WHOLE Gospel. We need to do this by dealing directly with sin, all sin. It doe not work to simply say Jesus loves you.

I don't know where people have gotten that from but it did not come from scripture. We need to be engaged in the world not hidden in a cave.

It's been legal in Japan for many years; in fact, it is said that Japan has twice the abortion rates per capita than America. This doesn't excuse the sin, but at least the US still has a voice against abortion.

Sharing the Gospel is an issue of life and death too. Which one have we been commissioned of God to put at the forefront yet the world knows more of us and our pet sins than it knows of us sharing the Gospel in love?

Of course it's an issue of life and death. Everybody gets that just like I hope everybody gets that it's a sin.

But so are a lot of other things.

Lead folks to Christ and disciple them to obey and grow in HIM and the moral issues will take care of themselves.

There is no more political answer to abortion than there is to rampant fornication.
