Should Women wear blue sweaters??

If women wear only green and orange sweaters, people will think they work at Howard Johnson's.

With the Cardinals in St Louis, red is not by any stretch a feminine color in these parts. Blue, on the other hand, is the color of the perpetually inferior Chicago Cubs, and no true male here wants anything to do with that!

 

Good question. Illinois is rather split on the issue, except for the area around East St Louis. We get a few newbies down here that want to claim that since the Cubs are an Illinois team, we should all root for them.

I respond by saying "So is the football team at my daughter's high school. They've won one game in two years. Even the cheerleaders don't root for them."
