    LIE #1: John McCain isn’t a loyal Republican.

    LIE #2: McCain represents a betrayal and rejection of the Reagan coalition.

    LIE #3: John McCain organized “The Gang of Fourteen” to Block the Confirmation of Conservative Judges.

    LIE #4: John McCain supports higher taxes.

    LIE #5: McCain is an advocate of “amnesty” and “open borders.”

    LIE #6: McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform represents a devastating assault on free speech.

    I listen to Michael Medved on my drive home from work several days a week. I was quite surprised to hear that he had endorsed McCain. Romney is preferable to McCain IMHO. I'll even vote for Guliani before I vote for McCain.

    The above article shows that McCain did give seriour consideration to being a running mate to John Kerry.

    McCain-Feingold HAS put restrictions on the content of political ads. It violates the first amendment. Medved is correct that it has not fulfilled the intent of its writers, but that doesn't change the intent.

    As a candidate against Hillary, I feel that McCain will try to mollify the Clinton's and play nice in a general campaign. If he does this, he will lose because they are playing for all the marbles. Nominating McCain will be a mistake.

    Giuliani, by admission, and Romney by lying, is pro abortion, pro gun control, and pro gay rights.

    McCain is not perfect, but beats the fire out of those two. You might as well vote for the Democrat, which PA will do anyhow.

    This is not a matter of perception. McCain-Feingold is one of the most fascist attacks on free speech in U.S. history.

    McCain certainly beats the other psudeocons on those issues. However, McCain is not perfect, as you well said. McCain-Feingold is a travesty.
