    At the sixth hour of the day prayer and praise are fittingly ordained, after the example of the saints; as it is written, Evening, morning and noonday will I tell of it and will declare it, and He will hear my voice[Ps. 54:19]; that we my be delivered from the mishap and demon of noonday, as is said in the ninetieth psalm, recited at this hour.
