Is anyone else having difficulty reading some posts? I have noticed a great number of very small type face and I am having a very hard time reading them, and therefore, backing off taking part in the discussions.

Maybe it is subtle way to get me off their backs......because it IS working. I am posting less than two messages each day now, and seriously looking for an Anglican forum.

    Cheers, and thanks,

    Jim

Jim, try going to the top right hand side of the page where it says, "Welcome, Jim1999".

    Underneath, it should say:
    • last time you visited
    • private messages
    • increase font size 0%, 10%, 25%, 50%
Try clicking on one of those numbers to increase the size of the type.

Sorry Scarlett...I have that checked at 50% and I still use a magnifying glass to read your type...Further, one must remember to press that each time just for the few people who use difficult type....easier to just go elsewhere.

    Cheers,

    Jim

My browser (Mozilla Firefox) has an option to increase the text size you're viewing so that even a nearly blind person could read the type. Click "view" from the toolbar, then "text size" then "increase." I'm sure the browser your using has some similar function. It will not only increase the posts, but everything (words) that you view on the screen.

When I go to the VIEW menue item in IE and change the text size to large or largest - -Scarlett O's post has the font size increase or decrease as I change the setting (note to self: see how a typo can change decrease to decease in a single stroke?).

But Jim99's posts do not change in font size at all when I do that ...

Things that make me go "hmmm"

Strange indeed. Every post, including Jim's, increases on mine. IE is a stinky browser. Switch over to Mozilla Firefox! :type:

The other thing that is helpful is clicking on the "GO ADVANCED" button in the quick reply box. There is a "Font Sizes" dropdown box there that lets you UP the font SIZE

Very good! With my browser, the text will stay that size until you close it down. Then I just resize when launching the browser again.

I'm in my early forties and I'm begining to use that function on a regular basis.
