In any honest American English dictionary, for those English speaking people who are trying to understand any langauge from an English perspective.

Are you a foreigner expecting the Anglo-Saxon in our society to bow to your demands?

I looked up all the following words in my dictionary- found; definition; words; accurate; requirement; soundness; and serpent. In not one instance did I find any allusion to the "KJB" (more properly the KJV or the AV) in any instance.

However I did find one interesting 'definition'- The first listed 'definition' of "definition" is as follows:

def-i-ni-tion \ ,def-&-'nish-&n\ n 1: an act of determining; specif : the formal proclamation of a Roman Catholic dogma

Guess we know what is the origin of your 'definitions', maybe?? For it does not come from any Bible text that is printed, but only the unprinted one in your mind, which somehow supercedes any printed version, including the AV1611, which I notice you seldom bother to quote, preferring the KJV1769, apparently, and claiming that the differences are not really there. Someone is  here, and it is not me, in this instance, at least.

For if one assumes, first of all that the accuracy of the AV of 1611 (or was that the KJV of1769?? I keep forgetting!) is flawless, hence without error, even to spelling variances [Is it 'Savior' or 'Saviour'? (How about maybe Sauiovr??); 'honor' or 'honour'?? (Or might that even be 'honovr', perhaps?); 'love' or 'loue'??], then one cannot approach even with a question or any facts. It has been adequately shown on this board, that there exist some spelling varaints between Oxford and Cambridge versions, and that of a close dating, BTW, in some printings, for an example. Yet that is 'dissed', and ignored, in order to maintain a specific theory.

That sort of thing is a 'dogma' of some religiosity, not a Bible doctrine!

No, but you are apparently some version of an "Anglo-Saxon" (I thought they were relegated to history, and we would be discussing "English"), expecting the entire world to bow to your own four centuries old demands, as to some language preference! :BangHead: :tonofbricks:

I only used the English word, you defined it in YOUR dictionary

Your problems and quoms of you own demise. I am only dealing with the emphasis of sound words. Your tangent is an obsession of sorts.

I see no one can deal with reason, so it should be closed, is that "sound" enuf?

I wonder if we should begin a topic on the subject of the "solemn sound"?

Not trying to be funny, TT, (yuck), but in all seriousness, this would be an excellent example of the need of soundness of speach,er, music.
