Our church is considering going into partnership with a SBC church in Georgial.

I trust some of their folks can come up next summer to help us have VBS.

Have any of you been in Partnership currently or in the past?

If so, what other assistance have you given or recieved?

    Thanks,

    Salty

You may want to define what you mean by partnership, but sure... lots of SBC churches "partner" together. Some times that partnership is long term, in other cases it is for a single event.

Churches are not to be competing against one another, rather sharing the burden of ministry and missions.

I would suggest that you partner with another SBC church in your area. The south is very different than the north. Ever notice how many answers come out of the south but they are unable to do anything with their advice to reach people in the north, west and east.

It is amazing what showing the love of God to others can do. The south is known for its hospitatility, and that hospitality can serve the Lord as well as other people.

Wish I would have known about it beforehand, Salty. I would have run it by my pastor. After all, Tennessee is right above Georgia. ;)
