In his epistles Paul write directly to churches which we understand that are believers. Does this mean that Paul cannot be possibley talking about eternal salvation?

I voted "no", but he does mention it. Not that he talks about how to get born from above into the family of God, but he does mention it to build upon, such as when he's talking about Abraham who believed God (saved) and it was counted to him for righteousness. It talks about it to build upon, but doesn't talk about it to teach them how to get into the family.
