    You have the same problems as Rome does. The apostolic office was foundational and the requirements to qualify for that office are no longer possible.

    Moreover, the sign gifts were transitional from Old Testament Scriptures to New Testament Scriptures as they were given in regard to the comfirmation and completion of the Biblical canon (Isa. 8:16-18; Heb. 2:3-4,13).

    The gift of tongues was a special prophesied sign gift to the Jewish nation that Jesus was the Messiah (1 Cor. 14:21-22; Isa. 28).
