    It's a shame Pastor Shiflett cannot take any further action. ie. call the police in. Though I don't know the statute of limitations on statutory rape in Maryland. So, maybe he can.

    In most states its 7 years from the victims 18th birthday. There are exceptions that can make it much longer.
