    "Lt Uhura" just passed away. She was 89 years old.

    Of the 7 actors who appeared in at least 50 out of 80 episodes -
    only 2 actors currently survive

    She was a true groundbreaking actress, as she was among the first black female actors to be shown as being fully capable, and would see her as doing basically the same on ST as Sgt Kinchlow did on Hogan heros, both competent black characters!

    I would have said:
    She was a true groundbreaking actress, as she was among the first black female actors to be shown as being fully capable, and would see her as doing basically the same on ST as Sgt Kinchlow did on Hogan heros, both competent (snip) characters!
