More nonsense from the conspiracy hounds. Nothing here about forced sterilizations. Nothing about parental consent if underage. Do you not agree that women may wish to manage their family size via tubal ligation? It is a legitimate surgery.

Go back to sleep. Ignorance is bliss for liberals.

It's a complete waste of time to explain it to you.

Physician, heal thyself. Your assertions about this are just a fishing expedition to find something to cry about. Boo hoo hoo.

Grow up. I can't help if if you're incapable of reading and understanding what's in front of your face. I believe it's called willful ignorance, and you're an expert at it. As are most liberals.

More personal invectives rather than rationally discussing issues. Par for the course for a person who has no viable, rational argument.

It's a waste of time discussing "issues" with someone incapable of reading a law and understanding what " all women with reproductive capacity" means.

Just a hint..."All" means without exception.

Does it mean something else to a liberal?

Thanks for again proving that facts don't matter to the conspiracy crowd. Do you see anything there about forced or non-parentally approved sterilization?

I love giving neocons rope. They so love to wrap their own necks in a noose.

First. No one has mentioned "forced", but you.

Second. Do you see anything that provides an exception to "all "?

Thus, the regulation issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration said: "Non-grandfathered plans and issuers are required to provide coverage without cost-sharing consistent with these guidelines in the first plan year (in the individual market, policy year) that begins on or after August 1, 2012. ... All Food and Drug Administration approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and patient education and counseling for all women with reproductive capacity."

HHS said nothing about restricting the provision of these free "preventive services" to women who were 18 or older, or 21 or older, or even 15 or older. The regulation simply said "all women with reproductive capacity."

However, states have varying laws on the age of consent. CNSNews.com took a look at Oregon and its rule of consent for sterilization--one of the free services required by the Obama administration's regulation.

In Oregon, the age of informed consent is 15, and the law and rules on sterilization are detailed in the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 436.205 to 436.335.

Under Oregon law, girls from 15 years of age and up are given complete control over whether to be sterilized or not. The parents or guardians of a minor girl--between 15 and 18--can neither grant nor deny consent for a sterilization.

The regulations say "ALL" women with reproductive capacity. I realize neo-lefties pretend to be naive but does anyone believe that the abortion crowd care about "age of consent"?

More rational thought from a neo-lefty!

    Did you read the article? Here is the FIRST paragraph;

No girl will be forced to be sterilized, but if this article is correct, parental consent is not required. Most 15 year old girls are not mature enough to make such a decision.

The left has long advocated, and pushed for, abortion on demand for any female, regardless of age...and without parental consent. That is a fact.

Fortunately, most states have recognized that kids are still kids, and parents still need to be parents. But thirteen states have seen fit to grant abortions to any female , regardless of age, without parental consent.

The rest require the involvement of a judge to grant such a request.

It is no surprise democrats tried to sneak this by an unsuspecting public.

"You have to pass it to see what's in it."

    Insanity from the left. :tonofbricks:
