String Theory

    It's got the world on a string.
    It's a theory that hangs on a thread.
    It may even throw you for a loop.
    You may knot even believe it.
    Some think if you give it enough rope...
    Ok, it's out of my system.
    This was mentioned as a possible discussion topic.

    I personally think that string theory has the potential to finally be physics' long sought after theory of everything. Over the coming years we will finally have supercolliders capable of producing high enough energies to probe the predictions of string theory. It is an elegant concept. I have Brain Greene's The Elegant Universe sitting on my bookshelf so that I can learn more about the topic. I'll get to it one day.
