I love classical and I'm ok with Southern Gospel as long as it doesn't sound like country. I love Greater Vision and old quartet style singing.

==I like Southern Gospel, I like Christian Rock (mainly when it is an old hymn put to rock music with the same tune). I enjoy Handell, Bach, etc. My real love is pipe organ hymns. I love to hear a pipe organ play the old hymns. Just thinking about it sends chills down my spine.

I'm not a Southern Gospel fan. Can't stand country music! I do like CCM and P&W. I also like Jazz, Latin jazz, big band, swing, and the like.

Mainly listen to CCM here, but i prefer it to be a little edgier...like what you hear on Air1.

I like most music -- classical, jazz, country, ccm, top 40, Latin, reggae, classic rock and even some metal. All except Gospel/southern Gospel and C-rap.

I like classical, country (of the recent variety--not the old stuff), rock, and CCM. I can't stand Southern gospel music.

    I didn't see reggae, mon :)

I like anything with a grinding electric guitar and good bass.

I can handle Southern Gospel until it starts sounding really country. I also like classical, P&W, CCM, and gospel.

Thank you, thank you. I am afraid that this is becoming more and more devalued in contemporary churches. Pipe organs appear to be limited to the so-called "mainline" and liturgical churches now. I know of some Baptist churches that have gone for praise bands and the like and which let their organs gather dust. I know of one which even removed and scrapped its organ ... short-sighted, if you ask me.

I get to play the classic hymns every Sunday, but our organ is an electronic (Rodgers) rather than pipe. Not all I would like, but a reasonable substitute.

I'll listen to any music, any style, but I can get brutally critical of music I don't like.

My favorite music is Bluegrass, since it is played on acoustic instruments, and you cannot hide behind racks of effects. I also really like Classic Country. I don't like all the classical music I have heard, but I absolutely love Bach.
