C'mon fellas, give the inuendoes a rest, okay?

I don't recall pounding you, SN, and I was away from the BB for a sabbatical, but here's my answer:

One thing I do, I actively comment on the Speaker's blog, and I know his staff reads the posts, because it is heavily moderated and you have to submit your comments to be approved before they are posted. I know Republican House members check it out to see what people are saying, and I give it to them when I disagree with them and give them kudos when I agree. I rant and post ideas, too.

On the local level, I haven't been active because of time restraints. I was going to get active in a campaign for a senatorial candidate to run against 1 of our current RINO senators, someone who had paid for a booth set up for a Tea Party Convention, a couple of months back, arranged to meet her at the venue, had people with me to meet her, and she never even showed up. I thought, "Gee, she just blew it - a perfect opportunity to meet and greet hundreds of people to support her, pass out brochures, get her name in the media, and she didn't even show up."

Why I went back from the CP? A couple of reasons. They didn't have a strong stand for Israel at the time. Also, I realized the futility of it all, meaning, I am not even sure the CP gets on the ballot in the primaries in all of the states. Maybe I'm wrong there, but anyway, I decided the best way to try and be effective in the really 2 party system we have and try to activate change would be to work for change within the Republican Party. Evidently, others have felt the same way, because the Tea Party was born and while they realize they are not a major player outside of the Republican Party to stand alone on ballots in races, they are effecting change within the Republican Party. That is what we need. With a $1 billion (with a b) obama war chest, conservatives need to come together, even if it is under the tent of an imperfect Republican party. We can effect change and the 2010 election results are proof of that.....

Good answer. Also, regardless of the liberal vs conservative issues, if both parties would have a mindset of serving the people instead of themselves, a lot of the present problems would be solved.

OK, everyone can use me as a punching bag. I have worked hard, served well, and been a real trooper. Well, ladies and gentlemen, get your laughs, because this is my last press conference. You will not have Saturneptune to kick around anymore.

I welcome the examination you all have given me, because members have the right to know if a fellow board member is a crook. Well, I am not a crook. I earned every penny I have.

On second thought, I will stick around as a thorn in the side of Targus and In The Light, LOL.

If it's any consolation, I won't kick you around if you decide to keep that cocker spaniel puppy named Checkers.

Welcome to the place I've been for months, my friend.

I am not a Republican. Never have been. I claim no allegiance to any political party and am beholden to none. I've even had the pleasure of voting for many Texas democrats in the past who were far to the right of a Romney.

Obama is the enemy. I don't trust Romney, but if he's the only viable option, and apparently he is, to replace this enemy of America and the free world, I'm in.

Are you completly void of a sense of humor?

Or is your reading comprehension really that poor?

We were laughing at Salty's joke.

Freeatlast meant "reported" to the administrator.

Salty used that as the basis for a joke to imply that freeatlast meant "reported" to the Constitutional Party.

InTheLight and I were both laughing at Salty's joke - not at you.

    Lighten up, dude.

Mine was a joke also, but since you asked, my mother was born in Arkansas, dad in Mississippi, and I live in Kentucky, so yes, I am 78% stupid. I can only dream of obtaining an intelligence level such as yours. And yes, the DNA report came back and you and FAL are first cousins.

    Ok, I get it.

This is as loose as you can get.

And apparently it's also as funny as you can get.

    You have my sympathy.

Calling yourself stupid is a personal attack on yourself, even if it supposed to be a joke, and is against the BB rules. (I am not joking about this. LE) :flower:
