    Suscribe, yes. My Dad thought the thing to do one year was to buy me a lifetime subscription.

    Read, no. I stopped reading when the Sword moved from presenting the gospel and letting the gospel work on men's hearts to constantly criticizing other denoms/associations for being "liberal". This began in earnest in the early '90's and yes that means I've tossed out more than a dozen years worth of Swords.

    I do occasionally pick one up to see what is going on with it. So far it hasn't measured up to what it produced when John R. Rice was the editor. When it does, I'll begin reading it again.

    Back in the day, when they first started the BB, the webmaster at that time offered subscriptions to us when we joined. or something like that. I read it then.
