Syria Says it has 'Serious Fear' it is Being Framed

""What raises concerns about this news circulated by the media is our serious fear that some of the countries backing terrorism and terrorists might provide the armed terrorist groups with chemical weapons and claim that it was the Syrian government that used the weapons," SANA quoted the letters as saying."

Report: Israeli Special Forces Track Chemical Weapons in Syria

"If evidence mounts that Assad already has used chemical weapons, the United States and Israel might coordinate to carry out a ground invasion, according to the London newspaper."

The director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan – Lt. General William Odom - noted:
Because the United States itself has a long record of supporting terrorists and using terrorist tactics, the slogans of today’s war on terrorism merely makes the United States look hypocritical to the rest of the world.
    Odom also said:
By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation.
    (audio here).

The Washington Post reported in 2010:
The United States has long been an exporter of terrorism, according to a secret CIA analysis released Wednesday by the Web site WikiLeaks.
The head and special agent in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles office said that most terror attacks are committed by our CIA and FBI.

How Israel Helped to Spawn Hamas

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123275572295011847.html

It would appear that using one faction to destabilize another faction (divide and conquer) has been a staple in both the U.S. and Israeli foreign policies for quite some time.

Evidently neither the U.S nor the Israeli government cares what kind of "blowback" this misguided policy might have on their own nations and citizens. It's as if they are playing Russian Roulette with our future security. The U.S. and Israel are the first to blame and condemn other countries for using terrorism but somehow the subject of our own role in supporting terrorism and using terrorist tactics against others doesn't seem to get much attention.

@poncho: you said: it’s amazing the American people are not up in arms over this obvious scam taking place in order to coax the masses into supporting yet another war.

well, maybe they need someone to lead them in taking up arms ?
    like, you, maybe ?
    how about it.

You sure can ask some questions how are you at answering them? Just one little question . . . how about it?

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showpost.php?p=1932716&postcount=13

You ain't scared of one little question are ya?

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showpost.php?p=1932725&postcount=17

I think you are. Otherwise you wouldn't be in this thread using the same lame tactic that you tried in the other thread.

If you had any berries at all you'd just answer the question so I could go on and comment on the rest of your long post in the original thread.

US Recognizes Unelected Terrorists as Syrian "Representatives"

US admits Al Qaeda "amongst" Syrian rebels, recognizes them as the "legitimate representative of the Syrian people."

December 12, 2012 (LD) - As expected, after a long pause of feigned "consideration," the US has recognized the militants it has been arming, funding, aiding logistically and supporting diplomatically since as early as 2007, as the "legitimate representatives of the Syrian people," with the added caveat, "in opposition to the Assad regime." The Wall Street Journal would report that US President Barack Obama's announcement actually read:
"The Syrian National Coalition for Revolutionary and Opposition Forces is reflective and representative enough of the Syrian population that we consider them the legitimate representative of the Syrian people in opposition to the Assad regime."
The bizarre, uncertain wording sends a message of both uncertainty and resounding illegitimacy, indicating that the US itself recognizes the true nature of the so-called "Syrian" opposition is apparent to an increasing number of people both in public office and across the public, and that a certain degree of rhetorical distance must be kept.

US Has Knowingly Supported Al Qaeda for Years

Based in Benghazi, elements of LIFG were behind the attack on a US consulate and the death of US Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. They are also confirmed to be sending fighters and weapons through NATO-member Turkey where they stage before engaging in combat operations inside Syria.

In November 2011, the Telegraph in their article, "Leading Libyan Islamist met Free Syrian Army opposition group," would mention LIFG by name when they reported:

"The Terror War is not an event, or a campaign, or even a crusade; it is a system. Its purpose is not to eliminate "terrorism" (however this infinitely elastic term is defined) but to perpetuate itself, to do what it does: make war. This system can be immensely rewarding, in many different ways, for those who operate or assist it, whether in government, media, academia, or business. This too is a self-sustaining dynamic, a feedback loop that gives money, power and attention to those who serve the system; this elevated position then allows them to accrue even more money, power and attention, until in the end -- as we can plainly see today -- any alternative voices and viewpoints are relegated to the margins. They are "unserious." They are unimportant. They are not allowed to penetrate or alter the operations of the system." - Chris Floyd, "Blowback On the Border: The Purpose of the Terror War System." January 4, 2010.

"We won't keep our defense industries alive unless we are in the state of terror. We don't believe in any other informational system except a state of terror, and we wonder then why we have a civilization based on terror." - William Irwin Thompson, "It's Already Begun: The Planetary Age is an unacknowledged daily reality."

There is a popular illusion that Washington fears backing the Jihadist terrorists who are battling the Syrian government because they are a potential enemy who will do harm to the United States once they seize power in a post-Assad Syria. People who fall for this illusion point to the Benghazi attack. They argue that Washington has learned its lesson and that it will no longer sponsor Jihadist terrorists to overthrow regimes.

But, contrary to propaganda opinion, Washington has been anything but conservative in its support for the Jihadist terrorists in Syria. There is no cautiousness on the part of the CIA. Its love affair with Jihadis is permanent. They may go through some rough patches like any relationship, but divorce is out of the question.

    Propaganda War on Syria Rages

Propaganda wars precede hot ones. Conflicts and other forms of violence are glorified in the name of peace. Doublespeak duplicity claim it. Wars are waged to prevent it.

Ongoing ones assure more ahead. Unconscionable death counts rise. America, Israel, key NATO partners, and regional allies bear full responsibility. Humanity hangs in the balance.

Humanitarian intervention and responsibility to protect (R2P) mask ravaging one country after another. Slaughter and mass destruction are called liberating struggles.

Plunder is for economic development. Exploitation and dominance are called democracy building. Media scoundrels invert truth for public support.

When America goes to war or plans them, they march obediently in lockstep. Administration, congressional and Pentagon propaganda get reported as news and information.

Big Lies make headlines. They’re repeated ad nauseam. Media scoundrels are so addicted to lying, perhaps their employment contracts mandate misinformation, deceit and distortion while avoiding truth at all cost.

What better way to explain mainstream journalism. Fundamental good reporting principles are spurned. Ethical standards are ignored.

The Syria Chemical Weapons Saga: The Staging of a US-NATO Sponsored Humanitarian Disaster?

Modeled on the Saddam Hussein WMD narrative, the propaganda ploy concerning the alleged threat of Syria’s chemical weapons has been building up over several months.

The Western media suggests –in chorus and without evidence– that a “frustrated” and “desperate” president Bashar al Assad is planning to use deadly chemical weapons against his own people. Last week, U.S. officials revealed to NBC News that “Syria’s military has loaded nerve-gas chemicals into bombs and are awaiting final orders from al-Assad”.

Western governments are now accusing Syria of planning a diabolical scheme on the orders of the Syrian head of State. Meanwhile, the media hype has gone into full gear. Fake reports on Syria’s WMD are funneled into the news chain, reminiscent of the months leading up to the March 2003 invasion of Iraq.

The evolving media consensus is that “the regime of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad appears to be entering its twilight” and that the “international community” has a responsibility to come to the rescue of the Syrian people to prevent the occurrence of a humanitarian disaster.

Syria rebels, regime blame each other for first alleged chemical weapons attack

"DAMASCUS, Syria The Syrian government accused rebels of firing a chemical weapon for the first time on Tuesday in the north of the country, killing at least 25 people in the war-torn Aleppo province. Rebels quickly denied the report and accused regime forces of firing a chemical weapon on a long-range missile."

Like it's supposed to be some kind of big surprise right? The corporate media have been laying down the propaganda getting us ready for a "humanitarian" effort aka an unconstitutional war against Syria for awhile now.

The international community (NWO) needs a frightening pretext to invade and destroy Syria just as it needed one to invade and destroy Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan. Most Americans will easily fall for it again. Seems we never get tired of watching re runs.
