Thank you. I juste downloaded all of the sessions an burned them to cd to listen to in the car.

As a missionary, I really liked what Duncan said about the Great Commission being more than just a simple Gospel outline but acutally teaching ALL things that Christ taught the apostles- i.e. doctrine.

Perhaps we could discuss each message individually. There are some great talking points in these and the discussion could be a blessing. Maybe in the pastors forum? Not that others can not participate. But everything would have to stay on subject. (No C/A debate).

DH got back from the conference at 3AM this morning. I am still waiting to talk to him about it all. I DO want to listen to the MP3s - he's going to get them on his iPod for me. :D

K - Spoke to hubby this morning. RC Sproul's message was one of the best messages he's heard. Piper's was amazing too. I got him to put Sproul's on CD for me to listen to.

Oh - and the massive bag of books he brought home was incredible! He said there was constantly new books on the seat when they came in. Here's what he got:

    Small leather ESV
Preaching the Cross by Dever, Duncan, Mohler, Mahaney
The Future of Justification by Piper
Christ and Culture Revisited by Carson
    Worship Matters by Kauflin
The Truth of the Cross by Sproul
In My Place, Condemned He Stood by Packer and Dever
The Gospel According to Jesus by MacArthur
The Gospel and Personal Evangelism by Dever
If You Could Ask God One Question by Willians and Cooper
The Courage to be Protestant by Wells
    The Faithful Preacher by Anyabwile
Pierced for Our Transgression by Jeffery, Ovey, Sach
    Culture Shift by Mohler
Why We're Not Emergent by DeYoung and Kluck

    Wowza!

Wow, sounds like a great conference and some great books.

I would have loved to have gone this year, but 3 trips to Louisville in one spring would be a bit much.

Does anyone know if they are planning one in 2010?

I listened to MacArthur's sermon and was disappointed. It seemed dry and academic to me. But I was tryint to read a book while I was listening so maybe I missed something. I'll give it another listen when I get a chance.
