    I posted this in a different forum, but perhaps this one is better suited.

    Name all the countries you can, in five minutes----proper spelling required. Beware, the timer starts immediately. I got 59.

    Knowing all 50 states, and 43 Presidents, plus at least 150 countries, and being able to type them in without making the typos (thus bringing my already low numbers, due to a lack of speed, down even further) are not the same thing, by any stretch for one, such as I, who is barely 'literate' on a keyboard.

    There are three general classifications of typists.

    The best is, as my bride is, that of a "touch typist". :thumbs:

    The second level is that of "hunt and peck". :)

    My own level is at the third level - "Search out and destroy!" :BangHead: :laugh:

    Yes, you have to be quick on the draw with these. Dh can name all 50 States in 3 minutes or less, but it would take him a lot longer to type them out.

    With the countries, I have the advantage of being fairly well traveled. I named most of Europe. It's the rest of the world that I can't remember (especially the African nations for some reason).

    My Mom did better than I with the Presidents quiz. I knew "Eisenhower" but couldn't spell it right at the time.

    I only got 28 presidents. [​IMG]

    If I could spell, it would have really helped on the countries. :BangHead:
