Now you've done it! You have given evidence of an actual terrorist threat in this world and why we should take steps to squash it. The libs are not going to be happy with you.

I am glad to see that this terroristic act was foiled. Since people will jump to a conclusion as to the political/religious leanings of the driver, I noticed this in the article:

The Muslim Council of Britain, the largest organisation representing Muslim groups in the UK, urged people to help the police find the perpetrators. Secretary-General Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari, said: "It is now a duty upon all the rest of us to help the police so that they can bring whoever was involved in this plot swiftly to justice".

This is not evidence that the driver was not muslim.

Nor is it evidence that he was. His identity isn't known yet.

Since the receant terrosit attacks have been committed in London by islamists and this is their MO we can suspect them with much credibility.Abd that is where we should begin looking.

I agree that is the place to begin the search. I did not say otherwise.

This is like those who insisted that white haired grandmothers get searched along side Middle-eastern youths with wires sticking out of their pockets, just to be politically correct.

I ADMIT WE DO NOT YET KNOW THE IDENTITY of the driver or the group behind this.

However, the MO has been linked with car bombs in Iraq/Iran, and given that the most recent attacks have been Islamic terrorists, chances are that Al-queada of someone is behind this.

Could be some IRA faction, or disgruntled Baptist, but unlikely.

I know who the perps are.
    They are not Muslims.
    Probably homeboys.
And the Muslims know that, so they are urging everyone to help the police find out.

The case isn't closed, LE, until the perpetrator(s) is caught and convicted. Simply knowing such a person(s)'s political/religious leanings is not sufficient. Such a person(s) should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I wouldn't doubt that these potential bombings have to do with the Salman Rushdie situation.

The case in which LE was speaking of is that there is no doubt it was a Muslim as you attempted to discourage others from believing.

I did no such thing. I advocated not jumping to a conclusion about anybody.

I am really getting tired of folks like you and carpro who are Christians bearing false witness about me on this board.

Yes, you are correct. And Ken, you said: "Since people will jump to a conclusion as to the political/religious leanings of the driver," - then when someone refers to your own words, you accuse them of bearing false witness. C'mon. In debate tactics, it's called "demonizing your opponent."
