What do you think Ky? Do you think the church in the OP was correct in inviting 1500 Muslims to a kum ba ya meeting? What is it you see that we don't? I see what's written in scripture about partnering with unbelievers, about allowing wolves in among the sheep.

Heheh, would YOU, Amy, partner with 1500 Jews in an 'interfaith service'? If yes, what would be the difference with what this Church in Texas did?

Methinks someone has read too many of Jack Chicks goofy little comics.

Why are you reluctant to answer my question?

How could it be interfaith when the Jews reject Christ as the Messiah? We do not share the same faith.

So, what is your opinion of the OP?

Why would you think that? Me thinks you have not read enough of the bible.

Jack Chick is goofy. I do not like nor read his little comics.

Actually I'm not, but I DON"T speak for the PBs here. It appears to me these folks may have had a good time and that it may have been beneficial to the Kingdom. And, being an automonous independent Church, it's totally their business if that's what the congregation decided to do. If the Lord doesn't condemn them, I'm sure not going to. But it would never happen in a Primitive Baptist Church, at least not that way; they would be welcome to sit in on OUR service, but I guarantee you there would be no Muslim pratices going on at the same time as our worship service. For sure they could come to the potluck afterwards. :)

    I agree.

    AMEN Amy!

You are 100% right on. Any pastor who invites the enemy of the Gospel to worship and fellowship with them is only asking for problems.

You can't fit a sqaure peg into a circular hole.

I don't know of any evangelical church that would do this.

Because he promotes this moon god nonsense. You sound just like him.

    And you'd be wrong.

    On this I agree.

The islam religion is antichrist----it is everything that Jesus Christ is NOT---it is NOT what everything Jesus Christ is

Having a muslim to speak at my church would be akin to having Adolf Hitler to be the keynote speaker at the Boy Scouts of America convention!!---it would be wise to not let him anywhere near a microphone!!

Well, that's not very nice!

My pastor told us that. I guess I shouldn't have assumed it was correct.

:) Well, in rereading it, saying you sound like Chick is a bit harsh. My apologies.

It is very difficult to take you seriously as anything other than blind when the article which you attribute to Pat Buchanan explicitly states that its author is not the Pat Buchanon you claim it to be. If you don't even read your cited articles closely, then you'll understand why we might stick to more studious sources of information.

Like all of the debates here things start to turn from the topic and get personal with attacks while the main question remains.
So let me ask a question here. We know we are to evangelize everyone even those in Islam. In the video the pastor openly and literally told the people visiting that they were headed for hell and he wanted to convert and baptize them. He made that statement directly to an Imam.

He also stated that Jesus is God which is a no no to a Muslim. We have no command not to allow a lost person or group of people into our church building. What exactly are you opposed to about what he is doing? Please be specific as well as rational.

    From the article:

"....Since then, streams of thank you messages have filled the church’s Facebook page from Muslims who say they were blessed by the outreach event and hope to hold more, “In sh’allah” – God willing."

To me that speaks for itself.

For the first part, you need to ask some Palestinians..

For the second part, no they don't.. they don't worship the trinitarian God.. Jesus is not their God.. and Jews are on their way to Hell the same as Muslims without Jesus.. Jews do not worship the same God as Christians.. Jesus is our God.
