    TEXT: 1KINGS 18:17,18
    TITLE: BLAME THE MESSENGER

"...Art thou he who Troubleth Israel?" [1Kings 18:17]

These are the words of wicked King Ahab to the Prophet Elijah upon encountering him after the 3 years of drought that the Prophet had earlier pronounced upon King Ahab and the Nation for his own evils and the wickedness of using his power to lead his Nation to defy their Covenant Relationship with the Lord by rebelling against the Word of God.
King Ahab blamed Elijah and his earlier Words for the 3 years drought and the resulting consequences, which was actually the consequences of his own evil.

As I thought about this incident it reminded me of how the Democrats and the left in our Nation are blaming the Arizona tragedy upon those voices in America that have been crying out against the President and his Democrats for their unrelenting drive to turn this Nation away from the Lord(who has made us), and into a godless, secular, socialist Nation that refuses to acknowledge the Lord and to live by His Word.

These voices and others have also cried out against prior Presidents and leaders for years, it didn't begin with this Administration. But like Ahab, this President : "...did evil in the sight of the Lord above all who were before him", and like in Elijah's day, the Lord has chosen no longer to suffer the wickedness of this Nation and it's Political Leaders.

The Spiritual Drought in our Nation has been long and the consequences are now becoming very critical. We can no longer survive without the Rains of Revival anymore than Israel could of in Elijah's day.

For decades many powers in this Nation have been on a quest to eliminate God from our midst so we may live lives of unrestrained evil and when the evil we have been so eager to produce rises up, no longer restrained by the Lord(Romans 1), and commits the atrocities like we have seen in Arizona, they then want to blame it on those Voices who are still courageous enough to cry out against the real TROUBLERS of AMERICA and their evils.

We must pray that these voices of sanity will refuse to be silenced by the left. We must pray that they cry out even louder than ever, we must also at this time join our voice with theirs, refusing to be silent any longer.

When Elijah showed himself to wicked King Ahab it was because the Lord was ready for a show down with these wicked forces, the Lord was ready to defeat them and to send the Fires of Revival throughout the Land. We too today stand at the foot of Mount Carmel and like Elijah we must now confront the forces of evil and the Luke Warm Church, climb the Mount, repair the Broken Down Altars, return to Calvary and cry out for the Fires of Revival to fall.

If we are wise enough and courageous enough to do so, we too will find our Lord is willing, ready and able to turn this Nation back to Him.

"Cry aloud, spare not, LIFT UP THY VOICE LIKE A TRUMPET, and show My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." [ Isaiah 58:1]
