    The Baptist Board

    When my day is done and my work is through.
    I go to my computer and this is what I do.
    I go to the Baptist Board to meet my Christian friends.
    Who talk about Jesus Christ, who is their constant friend.

    The first one you’ll meet is Barnabus, a kind and gentle soul.
    You’re not the first to ask, No you cannot take him home.
    Then there is Dr. Bob, the dean, of barbs and quips.
    I hope you have a thick hide, he’s faster than a whip.

    Our resident expert of biblical versions is Thomas Cassidy.
    But speak softly around others, he prefers the KJV
    Then there is Robert Vaughn, yeah he’s read a book or two.
    Got questions on Baptist History, he’s got the answer for you.

    Then there is Jeff Weaver who will pop in from time to time.
    I hear he is an Old Time Baptist of the feet washing kind.
    There is Pastor Larry, Preach the word and Fly free 432.
    There is Don, Chris and James2 and these few will have to do.

    No Baptist forum would be complete without the ladies fair.
    They come in all shapes and sizes and various shades of hair.
    The resident punster is da Gina she known to keep you in stitches.
    Watch her and what she says guaranteed to bust your britches.

    Helen is the resident scientist and she will speak about evolution
    She is also a
    Creationist and God is the only solution.
    We have a Saggy Woman, Javalady, Joy and Joy2.
    All ladies are a Keeper of My Home and we have her too.

    We have places for news, places for views as everyone has their own.
    Forums for new believers and those with no belief at all.
    There are many opinions and doctrines, to many to try to mention.
    Conversations get heated and arguments fly and there is a lot of tension.

    Three thousand members on the Baptist board in case you want to know.
    Now I want to introduce you to the one who runs the show.
    Brother Clint is a Christian gentleman and he will treat you kind and nice.
    Watch your tongue and your manners here as this is a Christian site.

    Now Brother Clint would not be complete without Margie his loving wife.
    The stories they’ve told and we all can tell she is the joy of his life.
    Last of all there’s little me an Old Baptist till the end.
    When you see my name drop by and say hi… And we will talk about Jesus my friend

    I wrote that for all the endearing friends I've met on the baptist board... I'm also a song leader in my church but I'm to old to rap... Brother Glen :D

    Brother Glen, you were holding out on us! We knew that you were one of the funniest man on the board, but a poet?! I am honored to be mentioned in your charming poem at all. It made a good reading. Thanks for posting it. Now we have to reciprocate and write one about you! ;)
