The BaptistBoard on the Tapatalk App

What is it?

 

I'm using it right now, and almost exclusively. I love the way it organizes unread threads and threads you've posted in.

 

I really am serious....what is it & how will it help me be more productive? And is there a cost for it, then how much & is it worth the money?

 

It's an app for mobile devices. It's specifically for forums. And it's free. Definitely check it out. I use it more than my computer for forums.

 

SNAP.....it wasnt free when I checked it out.....bottom line, they were looking for money so I rejected it out of hand.

 

Why would I like it though?

I only read it on a mobile device if I'm bored and that's all I have with me. It's too big of a forum and too much text to read on a small mobile. I guess if it was an I-Pad or something it would be different.

 

I tried it because it is free now. I like it so far.

 

No rave reviews though.

 

It is a forum reading and posting app for phones and tablets. If you read forums on your phone you do a lot of finger pinching zooming in and out. Posting to a forum using a browser on your phone is a real time consuming hassle. Tapatalk goes a long way in making posting on a forum with a phone a hassle free experience. I bought the app. I figure I'm cutting the time it takes to post on BB in half by using it. It's money well spent and I can't imagine living without it.

 

Now I can BB during those long, boring association meetings.

 

I paid $3.99, and I'm glad I did. My only beef is trying to figure out how to update my profile using it, since I no longer use a p.c. at all.

 

Very modern. This is supposed to be the direction of things - the PC is going the way of the dinosaur and home PC's will be a thing of the past.

Of course, that means I'll still have one for years to come. I've just now come to grips with everyone requiring internet access for everything. (sort of come to grips, I still think it's a really bad idea and compromises security in many areas of life on many levels)

 

Sorry fellas, I gave up my cell phone altogether.:thumbs: Consequently I'm not consumed by that contraption. I do have a kindle...... But I prefer not to get one & be nickel & dimed by marketing types. But you go ahead....play nice.:1_grouphug:

For Tapatalk: Start the app and if already inside a forum use the back key to get to the home page of the app. Tap on the the vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Tap on Manage Account. Adjust your profile.

For BB, yes I think you need to do it from within a browser. You don't need a PC, just need Internet access, a browser and a keyboard. So you could do it from a phone but it won't be a way as with a PC.

 

What is it about your life that is compromised by having Internet access?

 

BB profile, yes.
