Well, I can't argue with either one of these. Especially, the last one! [IMG]

Uh, sorry, Diane, I read the profile, but didn't catch the age. I did see the interests were preaching, youth ministry or something similar. Made an assumption they were a youth minister. Sorry!

I'd 'met' Kidz-4-Him on another thread Phillip, that's why I knew he was a teen.

Granny, I'd never heard the name Ruckman until a month or so ago and had no idea who he was and I don't know what a Russellite is either. [IMG]

I've been married 34 years soon and have 4 children. Jim is also the only man I've ever 'known'. There aren't that many of 'us' around!

    HAVE I?

I have discerned that the ONLY limits on what God can do are those He's placed upon Himself by deciding He won't do something. A clear example is His saying that He will never again destroy everything & everyone on the face of the earth again with a flood. I see NO such limit upon how God can choose to present/provide His word.

What's proven as ignorant is the KJVO view that such a limit exists, or that THEY can limit God by publishing some silly book.

Kidz-Are you gonna stop the hit-n run tactix & actually engege in a real discussion? Or, has the man-made KJVO myth hardened into dogma with you so your mind is closed to anything else, including ironclad proof that KJVO is just a man-made false doctrine whose origins are clearly proven?\

Hey, if you're chronologically-challenged, ya might wanna consider withholding yer posts till ya have time to discuss'em. You're not about to get anyone to believe you by posting in stutter-step increments of an idea.

Uh, 'scuse me, but am I missing something. You don't want to change we we believe, but you ARE showing us the truth. Okaaaaaay.

In reality, what you are showing us is old rhetoric from the KJVo crowds that has been told many times over. The problem is there are a lot of half-truths, especially in the area where words are changed or left out. Many of these can be read in context and there is no difference. Many words are changed into more modern words.

If you will take your KJV and any of the commonly accepted MV's, you will find that God's Word is right there in all of them. There are no doctrinal changes whatsoever.

Well, this is a debate board, and we expect those who post in it to participate in the debate.

Your attempt to "show us the truth" is a flop. Most of us have "been there, seen it, done that", that is, we proved those old KJVO ideas to be horse feathers. While you may THINK they're right, a little research should show you otherwise. This is where our experience comes in.

Hey, I wasn't born 55 yrs. old! I was 17 once, & I sure wasn't a Christian then! It took me a lotta study to avoid not just the KJVO myth, but many other false doctrines. I was almost caught in Armstrongism, but God saw fit to open my eyes to the fact he was preaching "annihilationism"-the false doctrine that the sinner's soul is destroyed in gehenna, rather than spending eternity there.

I'm happy to see you & others come to Christ at an early age. Now, while keeping up your work for Him, may I suggest you take a REALLY LONG, HARD LOOK at the KJVO myth-to study its purely man-made origins & to see it has absolutely NO Scriptural support, even from the AV 1611 itself?
