Hey jon thats great. So you just need carpet. Are people starting to drop off anything for families of the war or those over in the Gulf yet? Marvelous thing you are doing!

Wisdom Seeker those Dr. bills can really add up. And if its something you need...its always sky rocketing high. Like ALLERGY MEDICINE! I need mine refilled. I am itchy all over. Daughter gave me some Alegra. It does absolutely nothing for me. The benedryl works better than Alegra.

You know, I am surprised deoderant is as cheap as it is. Everyone needs it, and everyone buys it. Its a wonder its not like $15.00 or 20.00 for 6.5 oz. I am so surprised it is easy to buy.

Have you seen how much razor blades are? I bought my son some sort of razor and then went to buy the refills for it. OUCH! Well, they both have electric razors, but I thought i would be nice and get the other too for them. yeah...right! What ever happen to the "Bic" throw aways. Remember something like 10 for a dollar. Now its like 3 for $4.50. Its because someone found out you need it. Listen I could rant on all kinds of these things.

I just wanted to say too, so glad you had a great visit with your brother Wisdom Seeker.

Ok so wheres that thetaterkid, and dapenguin, and Jim, and Betty, and the whole lot of you. Guess I am going to have to email and find out where blackbird went. He has really been a missing. Must be working in that Garden long hours.

I be here. I had a good day today. I have been reading the posts from the other threads and debates. Some of it is interesting, but I don't feel I would have any input to post; politics, fundamental baptist, other doctrine, ect.

I've read some of the music ministry posts and don't see that many posts that have to do with "music ministry".

    Well Sherrie,
I don't know what kind of music they are listening to or discussing in the music forum, but I am enjoying a different kind of music as I sit in an easy chair, drinking a freshly brewed cup of coffee, and watching Vancouver beat up on the Blues.

The second period just ended. It is 3-1 in favor of Vancouver. But your big defenceman Al McGinness seems to be injured. It is an exciting game though with both teams throwing their weight around with some thunderous checks. This game decides the series, as does the other one that is being played out right now also: Colorado vs. Minnesota.

I'm here! Thanks for asking [IMG] Makes me feel like I belong [IMG]

Had a pretty good day. Kids got their schoolwork done, and done fairly well! They got some of tomorrow's done, too, so we won't have to spend as long on it in the morning [IMG] Well, my oldest is still working, but he'll be done soon.

I picked up some chocolate coins from Wal*Mart on sale cheap ("after Easter") and am using them as 'rewards' [IMG] Hope they prove to be a decent incentive.

It's all over Sherrie. 4-1 for the Vancouver Canucks, who will now go on and play Minnesota. The Wilds unexpectedly defeated the Avalanche in OT.
What do you think of that!

It was 50 here this morning still a little nip in the air and at 7:30 this morning the ladies in the office next to mine already had turned the air on so I am glad I have finally learned to wear long sleeves even though it will probably be 70 when I get out of here tonight!

I don't want no coffee thank you I have my Mt. Dew and that is all I need! Have a great day!

    Good Morning!!

It is cool here this morning, but not cold enought for frost. It should get back into the 60s F again this afternoon. There might be some rain later today also. We need the rain, but hopefully it will keep away Friday - Sunday for the Dogwood Festival.

Where is blackbird??? Do you think we need go to Wesson, MS and sneak into the service Wednesday night to make sure he is ok? I think he said he was dealing with some church problems last time he was here. Hopefully he is getting it all under control.

Thankful, glad to hear you survived your trip to the movies with the grandchildren. Did any of their parents go with you to help or was it just grandma? [IMG]

RodH, no parents went with me. I did have my 17 year old granddaughter along and she is the oldest of five, and she is a good "boss".

Actually, it was lots of fun. We all had a great time. My 15 year old grandson called to thank me for taking them. I had ages from 6 - 17. The only problem I ever have is with the two boy cousins that are 11 and they are great friends but always very competitive for my attention.

My six year old granddaughter said, "we need to buy this movie so grandpa can see it." So if it ever comes out for sale, we will buy it for all the see again.

How is your wife doing? Has she had her tests yet?

Good Morning, all. I have to run along. Need to pay bills, today. That's my job. Husband makes the money and I spend it. We both take our jobs seriously.

    God Bless Everyone.

April 23rd and snow on the ground. It may not last, but still,,,,,it is April 23rd!!!!!

Hey, to-day is secretary's day in the USA. We all need to show respect for our secretaries. I think mine is on permanent holiday.

I am popping on and off, reading some, posting a few, but keeping a little remote. It is nice to see newer people posting to the coffee shop. Such a friendly lot.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Sherrie, you were talking above about the price of allergy medicine being so high. As soon as generic versions of the popular drugs come out the price should drop a little. Until then either we suffer or our wallet suffers. I guess we could send money to our Canadian neighbors (Jim and DHK) to buy them at the cheaper prices there and send them to us here.

Maybe they can talk grandpa into taking them next time. ;) He shouldn't have to miss out on all the fun. Glad to hear there were some older grandkids to help you supervise.

She hasn't had any more tests since the one a couple weeks ago. She feels ok sometimes, but not as good as she should. The doctor told her next time she starts feeling really bad he will schedule the "pill camera" test.
