The Darwin Fish (With Legs)

    I have just returned from a very long business trip in upstate New York. While I was in Albany, I was downtown in rush-hour traffic. I was listening to one of my CCM discs, when I noticed the Darwin sticker on the car immediately in front of me. I cannot tell you what was depicted as there may be children reading this discussion.

    For those of you who have seen this, is this new? I was absolutely stunned by this new low with respect to ongoing battle between the "sign of the fish" and the Darwin evolving fish.

    Hey: the first time I saw the Darwin fish, I must admit: I got a chuckle out of it (hey: I can take a joke). But this new one is outright offensive.

    When did this show up?

    This has been around for years! There is a fish with legs and also a fish with legs eating the Christian fish. Yep - pretty disrespectful.

    In the new one that I've seen (along with the original poster, I am sure), the fish with legs is not exactly eating the Christian fish --- :eek:

    The fish in the newer bumper stickers are reproducing.
    I remember reading about it a year or two ago in a CvE type forum. It may not have been out yet at that time, who knows.

    Google "Darwin fish" if you feel that you must.

    What do we expect? When we depend on stickers and car emblems to be our witness we open ourselves up to this kind of thing.
