Waiting seems to be one of the hardest thing for people to do. I do not know why, but it is. I am guilty of it my ownself.

I am just so glad that God knows my heart, and gives me Jesus. Because When "I" do things, it is a real mess up. But when God leads me, it is totally right.

Morning Jim! You slept in today? :D

I saw a bumper sticker this week that said: "WE ARE TOO BLESSED TO BE DEPRESSED."

Thank you for reminding me that even when I feel like hiding in a cave, God knows where I am and what I need.

Thanks Jim, this is so true!

When we are so busy focusing on ourselves we miss the true blessings on helping those around us. I have struggled in this area many times and the Lord has shown me to look around at others, what I'm dealing with is nothing compared to the person next to me! At times we can really get caught up in "woe is me".
May we never forget why we are here, and WHO gives us our todays and our strength!

I agree Jim...sounds like the Pharisees to brag about what we are doing...outwardly white, but inwardly full of dead men's bones.

Jim: Please don't take something good away from the rest of us because of something bad that happened.

I so much look forward to your devotions every day. Won't you please hurry with the repairs so the Chapel can reopen?

    Blessings,
    Sue

I received this from Tim at "Inspirations.com" today. I thought it needed posting...

"Yesterday was Father's day here in the U.S.A., a day we spend honoring our father. A day spent by kids with their father and enjoyed by so many fathers, everywhere.

While spending the day with my kids yesterday, I over heard a three year old little boy blurt out a comment to his mother. I cringed as only a parent who has a child can. The little boy's comment was typical of the type of comment that kids make from time to time. In their innocence they say the obvious.

Their observations and comments make a parent blush with embarrassment. I made a bad attempt to keep from laughing, but just couldn't contain myself and my reaction. I walked on with my hand covering my mouth to hide my amusement, but feeling embarrassed for the poor lady.

During the day I reflected on the comment and I kept pondering about the incident. After much thought, I felt the desire to share one of my thoughts with you. I hope you'll indulge me with a moment of your time.

So often in our lives, our tongue blurts out words that cause us regret. We may not even realize the pain we cause others with our words until it's to late to do anything but turn red in the face and apologize. The words, once spoken, can't be taken back and the damage is done. Regret, pain and embarrassment follows. Even friendships and relationships are often destroyed. The lesson, however hard, is learned.

What should be easy (but never is) would be to simply not speak the words in the first place. How is it that our tongue says things that it shouldn't? How is it the words come out before the mind is engaged?

If you engage in a conversation with heated emotion (especially anger) and the destruction escalates faster than our brain can filter the words flying out of our mouths. Between the guilt, regret and the pain afterwards, the words linger on far longer than the emotions of the moment.

God writes with a pen that never blots, speaks with a tongue that never slips, and acts with a hand that never fails."

    Blessings,
    Sue

I like Sun Tea!... I like to think of some christians as the product of Son Tea... The Lord mixes the proper ingredients within us... Lets us bask in his eternal love and knowledge as we sit in the rays of his Sonshine... And we become Son Tea... And fit for the Masters table to show forth his praise to others!... Let us love one another for love is of God and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God... God Bless You All!... Brother Glen [IMG]
