    Too true, politics seems to inflame us on the Baptist Board. Still we are Brethren.

    I think we all choose too often to live vicariously through politics and the culture war instead of pursuing first His Kingdom and His righteousness. That is certainly a huge problem for me.

    Politics takes up so much time and energy I give leftovers to God instead of firstfruits. That is a sin on my part, it needs to be fought.
